Good Flu Killer Pho, as usual. The accompaniments were on the skinny side (a wedge of lime, three sprigs of Thai basil, and a small handful of sprouts), but it wasn't a problem as I usually like my pho "naked." Generous portions of shredded chicken and julienned ginger. The owner lady is as gruff as ever, but I just wasn't... More

Wow, what an amazing meal! I had never had Vietnamese food before, but am a big fan of Thai and my sister said it was good, so there we went! Greeted by the owner who welcomes everyone, and gladly shares her vast knowledge about the food as you order, I felt welcome right away. Everything was fresh, the spring rolls amazing... More

If you're looking for really good, "home cooked" fresh Vietnamese food, this is the place... especially if you're also looking for some gluten-free options. Have heard others complain that they wish there was more "atmosphere." Well, if you want atmosphere or romance, go dine on the terrace at the Broadmoor. If you want Vietnamese food cooked the way your mother... More

LOVE this restaurant!!! We are so happy Vietnamese Garden has moved to the east side of town. The many awards hanging on the wall were obviously won for a good reason... fantastic food and happy, super friendly owner. The restaurant is located in the shopping area directly across from Golds Gym. We used to go to a Chinese restaurant in... More

I've been 3 times since they moved to their new location in Briargate. Sure, the owner is a little rough around the edges and may wear strange outfits while running her business, but we know to expect that now. She's still very nice, wants you to be happy, and is hoping word gets out there that people should try Vietnamese... More

Skip the greasy lo Mein and egg rolls at the typical take out joint and spend a couple extra bucks for Vietnamese Garden. Fresh, authentic, flavorful, hand crafted food prepared from scratch on the spot. Best spring rolls in town. Ignore the small strip mall setting, as this is actually where the best grub often is and this is no... More

Not that the Vietnamese restaurant is bad....but considering I used to live in DC, and lived near the Vietnamese community there...my expectations were way too high! I probably won't return.

Now located at 7607 N Union Blvd (in Rampart Village Center near Gold's Gym). Definitely check out if you're gluten free. Almost all items on menu are gluten free! The restaurant itself is small and nothing fancy but the taste, ingredients and freshness of the food makes up for the lackluster atmosphere. The owner/waitress is a very nice lady and... More

We just returned from a very good dinner at Vietnamese Garden. None of the complaints others had happened tonight. I think they fixed some problems. The prices were about $12 and less per main dish. The appetizer egg rolls were pricey at $8.95, but delicious. Service was quick, portions were large. I had bun, my hubby had pho. Both were... More

My fiancee and I recently met some friends at Vietnamese Garden for dinner. Wow. The place is not much to look at from the outside, and really doesn't LOOK too fancy on the inside. However, do NOT miss out on a great experience by judging this book by its cover. We were waited on by the owner, who took great... More
