The staff here is so helpful. And they all recommended the turkey. If you are a first timer like us, you get a nice sample of different meats to help you make your choice. And believe me it wasn't easy but we all opted for that smokey, melt in your mouth turkey. Dinner was a great value. You order in... More

Every time were in town we stop in. I love there chicken and ribs, plus need to have the peach cobbler. The service was efficient - we didn't have to wait too long in line. But the lines can be long. take the time to go.

When you walk in, you smell the amazing fragrance of bbq…yum! The meat was delicious, however the sausage was a little spicy for my taste. The sides were good too, but stay away from their corn on the cob…tasted like it had been sitting in a pot of water all day; also the baked beans are very spicy too. I... More

The facilities were unique and clean. And service was efficient - we didn't have to wait too long in line. Flavor of BBQ was just average, nothing special.

We ate at Rudy's on our recent trip to Colorado Springs. Perhaps we are not used to the bar-b-q in this part of the country but did not much like the dry rub on the meat or the vinegary sauces on the table. The side of beans were not in bar-b-q sauce but were more like dry pinto beans. This... More

If you wait till normal eating hours you will have a 30 to 45 minute wait outside. The food is wonderful and the atmosphere is very laid back. Every thing is good but you have to try the moist brisket. It seems that every tourist is here at least once.

Upon entering the restaurant, you are greeted by a guide on how to get your meal, what there is to eat and where to set. You pick out your own meal first by the sides in the cooler, then by the type of barbeque or ribs that you want to eat. Drinks can be chosen by different types of bottled... More

Don't let the filling station in front deter you from trying the food! We met cousins here for dinner, and each of us ordered different items. Everything was well-prepared and delicious. My husband thought his pulled pork sandwich was very good, even without adding barbecue sauce (they offer "sissy" sauce, and their barbeque sauce that is a bit spicy). I... More

The original Rudy's is on the northwest side of my old hometown of San Antonio, TX. The BBQ there is worth a trip. Sadly, this Rudy's in Colorado Springs lost it BBQ mojo when it crossed the state line. Perhaps nostalgia has clouded my judgement, but it is but a shadow of the original. The service, ambiance and prices were... More

Love the choices, sauces, sides. Would like even paper plates! But we go often anyway cause their meat is delicious and it's relaxed fun. Gets crowded, but they seem to handle it well and get you through the self serve line.
