Closed Burned to the Ground

This place is closed now, it burned to the ground and was not rebuilt over the summer. It was a nice place to stop and view the lake while eating. I guess they decided the restaurant was not worth rebuilding?

My sister, mother and I stopped at Roscoe's for lunch while taking a drive on Grand Mesa. My sister and I ordered the angus burger which arrived on a dry bun with a raw bloody center. I just couldn't stomach the bloodiness and asked the waitress if she could cook it more. She informed me that's the way they cook... More

My family and I ate here a few days ago. My husband and I both ordered the prime rib which was cooked just right. Unfortunately they poured the au jus all over it, which was way too salty. I should've sent it back and asked for another. But it was still a good prime rib. My kids got chicken strips... More

This place made me feel like I was a part of the family. The food is really special and they care about the customers. The surrounding area is awesome. What a great place to spend some time.

We went with the Rocky Mountain Chapter BMW Car Club and had a warm reception. The bbq buffet had chicken, beef and pork, plus sides. Deelish!! Their blueberry pie is to die for and well-worth the price!! Ambiance is wooden chairs and tables--rustic. Very nice views of the surrounding woods and lake.

We spent 3 days at the Thunder Mountain Lodge. The ribs at Roscoes were awesome, and have won several awards! They are a must if you get to the lodge or restaurant. Loved the clam chowder and the french onion soup! If you are staying at the lodge, Billy will pack lunches for you and will even have any menu... More
