Great Green Chili

The green chili at Santiago's is awesome. Add a soft taco, they are big here, to a cup of chili and I am all set.

We thought we would try Santiago's for dinner...it was extremely busy so that must be a good sign, right?! Wrong!!! I should have taken the warning that their burritos/food is sold in gas stations....it was probably the worst Mexican food I have ever had (AND I have eaten at Casa Bonita!). I don't eat fast food, but would have gladly... More

That's what I heard and what the waitress said. We got a burrito the size of a cigar. Tasted good but coming from So Cal I'm accustomed to a breakfast burrito that takes two hands to hold and fills you up until dinner. My buddy and I ate ours and shot across the street to Jacks to get full. Also... More

If you go to this Santiago's on a Saturday morning there will be a line of cars wrapped around the drive through right out to the street. If you park you might have to walk a little ways. I always park and go inside. I'm not a drive thru type. I have eaten here several time but stop for breakfast... More

At one time this used to be a decent place to get Mexican food. We have come here often over the years. In the last 6 months to year the bottom has really dropped out of this place. Family visited from out of state so we thought we could treat them to a really good Mexican meal. However, they got... More

This place has the most consistently inconsistent green chili, but I love it anyway! It is offered hot, mild or half and half. I always get half and half, but sometimes it is so spicy it curls your toes, other times it is just right. The stuffed sopapillas are the best, but I can't have them anymore, they contain gluten.

This restaurant was BUSY. So, I take that to mean that someone likes it. The food is relatively cheap. The portions are relatively large. The service is OK. If you are looking for cheap Mexican food, this just might be your place. If you are looking for quality Mexican food, you probably want to look elsewhere. I found it to... More

We stopped for lunch while riding bikes on the bike path. The restaurant is in front of the bike path. We both had burritos with half and half (half mild and half hot) green chili. We thought the green chili was great. I think the hot would have been too hot for me, the half and half was great. The... More

I visited today at the lunch hour. It was very busy and crowded. Mainly because of popularity. Portions are generous and prices reasonable. Food was good, not exceptional but good. And yes, they were running behind. They also have a drive up window. All in all I would call this average and the prices are better than most.

The worst example of American "Mexican" food. Maybe it was what I ordered: Huevos Rancheros at dinner time. Ordered this because it was the least boring, standard item on the menu. Eggs soaking in lukewarm (temp. not spiciness) chile with a some small cubes of once frozen potatoes and out of the package flour tortillas. Waitress kindly said she would... More
