My girlfriend and I met here for Sunday lunch. We both ordered the pan fried chicken which we were told they were well known for. No disappointment. The chicken was delicious and crisp as were the vegetables and mashed potatoes. Yummy. I think we had a new wait staff person so they did not... read more

Known for it's fried chicken, unfortunately you can't get it during the week at lunch (they cook it fresh). The other meals are good, great salads and sandwiches, but can be a little pricey.

We were a party of 7 and came in at 6:15 on Sunday night. Didn't get seated until 7:00. We had five different orders and yes one of the orders was "Fried Chicken". So now it is 7:30 when we get our food. The ribs, walleye and trout where all tough/dry. Our college students were pleased with the chicken fried... More

Love this place! We go specifically for the friend chicken. It is delicious! Just know that the fried chicken is made fresh to order so it takes a bit longer. Just order it right when you get there. Service is great too!

I am not one to send food back as it is a distraction to the table but if I could I would. Tried a Ruben this time with onion rings. Only ate one onion ring despite the extra charge because they were not even warm to the touch which tends to make them very greasy. My Ruben was warm on... More

The chicken is great and made fresh when you order it. Great comfort food. Building has a lot of history so it is fun to take people from out of town there. It has a old west feel to it.

We had dinner last Saturday at the Castle Cafe. The food was divine and the service excellent. The pan fried chicken is the best, done to perfection and never disappoints. The family style serving gave everyone plenty to eat and none was wasted. The Blueberry cobbler was very delicious and a big hit with our family.

I am a big fan of a good fried chicken dinner! The reputation and history of Castle Cafe is well-known in the Denver area so I was excited to check it out. First, the service was excellent. Our server was friendly and efficient. The signature menu item is pan-friend chicken, which was done to perfection. The real mashed potatoes and... More

We stopped here for our 30th wedding anniversary and were pleasantly surprised. The food is excellent and the server was friendly and knowledgeable. Try the buffalo meatloaf and the four layer chocolate cake. We stuffed ourselves!

Castle Cafe is a great local restaurant, great service, food and drinks. My favorite here is the chicken fried steak with mashed potatoes.
