We had a great server and very attentive. It is an old hotel and the woodwork is beautiful. Food was good. Their special feature is pan fried chicken but we didn't get to partake of it. A great place.

That's the motto of this Cafe. The Beer is icy cold and the food is very good. The staff albeit there were plenty of them were attentive, but slow. Don't be in a hurry to eat, as in the normal course of things, this will take you an hour. This is definitely worth a visit especially for the burgers!!

My family and I recently moved to Castle Rock and went to Castle Cafe on a whim for my birthday. Three of us had the chicken dinner and my oldest daughter had the fish. It was a very busy Saturday night, about 8pm when we arrived. We sat in the bar and had a few drinks, then were seated. On... More

The Castle Cafe feels like you are walking into a rustic western establishment. In fact, we often saw real cowboys dining with friends. The quirky light fixtures are made from kitchen utensils. This is where you get your Mamma's home cooking. Meatloaf with mashed potatoes, great cole slaw, fried onion rings, chicken-fried steak, and cobbler for dessert. This cafe has... More

A nice selection of home style cooking. Tastes like Grandma is in the kitchen. Large portions at reasonable prices. Amazing rolls! Never had a bad meal here. Try the pot roast, chicken fried steak, or fried chicken... you won't be disappointed.

Pan fried chicken is the best you'll ever taste. Of course served with potatoes and chicken gravy. Be prepared to have a cocktail while you wait, as this is NOT a fast food kinda place!

This small, old-style restaurant is apparently most famous for it's fried chicken. No one in our party of 6 ordered this, but everyone thoroughly enjoyed several other items on the menu. The Artichoke Dip was just YUMMY! We managed to consume two entire baskets of hot rolls. Dinner did not disappoint anyone -- Castlewood Canyon Salad, homemade chicken noodle soup,... More
