Worst Mexican I have ever had.... Overly salty, burnt, and unpleasing as a whole! This place was a complete waste of money from the food to the service! The waitresses don't even know what bourbon is, and cannot be bothered to come check on you during your meal! Apparently, they do not care if you are pleased or not, because... More

Chips, salsa and lime coleslaw are served to start- it's easy to get carried away... We had the shrimp enchilladas and chipotle chicken tacos, both served with rice and beans. Our meals were $11-13. There were lots of options for starters, soups, mains and seafood. The dining room is very colorful and the servers nice.

We ventured to El Horizonte because it was relatively close to the hotel we were staying at. We were greeted warmly and the waitress took our order in a timely manner. The chips and salsa were fresh, and the cabbage was very good- a pleasant surprise. We ordered the vegetable fajitas and the Beef tacos. There was only one other... More

We eat here quite often as the staff is friendly and efficient. The food is delcious--Salvadorian and Mexican. The chips, salsa and cabbage slaw are fresh, and you have a hard time stopping eating them before your meal arrives. Moderately priced. A great value for the money.

After a horrible treatment by bored wait staff the last visit, went again because the food had been historically quite good. Decided to risk it! Thank goodness, the wait staff had changed, they were very polite, prompt, and efficient. The owner came around to check on us. The food, as usual, was great. This is not cheese smothered normal Mexican.... More

The restaurant seem to get good rating here at TripAdvisor but I would not say that it is exceptional. It is an average mexican restaurant with a good food and reasonable prices. The service might be more efficient, we had to wait quite some time for our meals. Do I regret going there? No, it was an OK dinner. Would... More

Came across this restaurant by accident. Is in the shopping center behind McDonalds in south Glenwood. The waitress was friendly. The decor was bright and clean. I got the Mojito. Was made with fresh mint and was great. Had the enchiladas chicanas. Got the red sauce, which was great. Had fresh cheese crumbled on top.

Ate there for the probably tenth time, it has always had great food, never cheese loaded or greasy, my whole family has loved eating there, it is a handy stop for lunch or dinner as we go back and forth to Denver. Historically, the service has been good and prompt. This last Sunday, June 3, 2012 at 5 pm it... More
