This is a very fun old school diner that makes you feel you've stepped back in time. Shakes and malts, burgers and fries, this place has good food and a swell atmosphere.

Six guys went to eat here before playing golf. An eclectic bunch that were all happy with their selections that ranged from ham&eggs, omelets, biscuits and gravy, cranberry juice, etc. Waitress was talkative and efficient. Décor was pure old time diner with shiny chrome and plastic seats. Basically everything a real diner should be.

We ate there several times while in Carbondale. As for something to be cooked a certain way and that is how they cook it, one of the few. Big menu, very good food. Friendly and good food.

Food was well prepared. Quaint old style diner. Staff was very polite and efficient. Prices were on the high side.

We were looking for a place to stop for lunch on our way to Aspen and discovered the Red Rock Diner. We were greeted immediately and our drink orders were taken. I had a cheeseburger which is made with local sourced beef that was excellent (the roll was soft and delicious) and my husband had a grilled turkey and swiss... More

The food served here is what you would typically find at a diner. I had a malt and a philly steak sandwich. The food was good. The waitress was fast and friendly. It was a good place to stop after a long drive to relax and have a bite to eat.

I so wanted to like this place. I usually love diners, but not this place. We just stopped in for dessert with plans to go back for breakfast. Glad we just spent money on dessert. Pies were supposed to be homemade. When quizzed further the fruit pies where made there, but the cream pies were from a distributor. Three of... More

Service was good, but I felt the food was over priced. I had a cilantro lime chicken burger and the chicken was delicious, but super thin! For the price, I would've expected a nice thick piece of juicy chicken. Shakes and malts were good as to be expected at a diner. I think I would give at least 4 stars... More
