Is called Town, just down Main St from 689. It is very good, casual, fresh. It is also open for breakfast and lunch with on site bakery.

Six89, probably one of the best restaurants in the Roaring Fork Valley, has closed. Fortunately, Chef Mark Fischer will be opening a new restuarant in Carbondale this fall.

Interesting menu, good wines, good specials, very nice ambiance; we asked to be moved inside (though we usually enjoy the patio) since they had some kind of movie thing going on that was noisy and distracting. Very casual, you can wear anything, despite the fact the restaurant is well known and reviewed in CO. Many local things offered, which is... More

My husband and I took a trip up to Glenwood Springs, CO for Labor Day weekend this year. We planned on going to Six89 in Carbondale as we had recently heard about it. However, the first night of our trip, we stumbled into The Pullman (not knowing it was Six89's sister restaurant-see my review on it as well). On the... More

I'd always "heard" good things about this restaurant but also "heard" they were very expensive. WRONG, SO WRONG. Of course, it's not a $8 fast food meal or a $15 quick dinner, but a leisurely 3-course gourmet meal for under $30 with wonderful side of bread and enough food I couldn't finish my meal and had great leftovers the next... A very special place with cuisine from locally grown and raised food. If you are in this part of Colorado it is a must stop. Staff is friendly and helpful with recommendations. And the prices are very reasonable as well. The atmosphere was outstanding and made for a very special anniversary dinner. Reservations recommended.

It was difficult to select from the menu - so many tantalizing choices - unusual and every one flavorful. We ate on the patio and enjoyed every minute - a not to miss place - you will be astounded by the food.

Four of us just had dinner at Six89 in the Roaring Fork Valley and it was one of the most incredible dining experiences I've had. We dined as the sun was setting on the patio shaded by large cottonwoods. We feasted on an very reasonable prix fixe option from a unique bruschetta and stuffed squash blossoms to wonderful things done... More

dining with friends at six89 was very pleasant. this is part of a three restaurant empire and perhaps lacks the focus of a single property. all in all a lovely evening.
