As a Carbondale local, we have been fans of Phat Thai for years. Their flavors are consistently more complex and satisfying that any other Thai restaurants in the area. The food has always brought us back, but in the past, service has been somewhat icy. Wait staff have been fine, but host and bar has not always left me feeling... More

We ordered a variety of items for take out so that the family could share. The crab and corn appetizer was delicious -- I wish we had ordered more! The chicken satay was good as well as the 3 entrees. One odd thing was that rice was not included with our curry dish. The Thai restaurants where we live usually... More

Had just rained when we arrived, so opted to sit inside next to the opened window. Helpful, friendly staff. Kept water glasses full. We had table of 5.

We already love Phat Thai and make sure to fit it in to each trip. This time we shared a soup, a small plate, a noodle dish and a large plate. The Tom Kha Kai is the best I have tasted. It was light and coconut sweet and had varied texture and flavors. Large Moo Lettuce Wraps were spicy as... More

An extensive menu without repeating the "same" Thai food. Nice menu selections for all appetites and diets, all Thai, of course. Very gracious staff. All things considered, a very attractive, not the "stereotype Thai", setting.

We had been going to Phat Thai for a couple of years and originally the food was fantastic but over the past few years it was slowly getting worse to the point where we do not visit them any more we would prefer to go toTown the restaurant across the street own by the same people. Why are the going... More

Have been here before and tonight took our virgin Thai Food friends to Phat Thai . They loved it but we had a couple of challenges that Eric the owner was right on and immediately took care of . We all will be back next time we are in town .

Ate here with my band mates after a gig. The service is very good. Appetizers were tasty. Main courses are big and filling. Cocktails are good. Try the Phat-A## cocktail.

We shared the coconut pumpkin soup as starter (but could have skipped since there was pleanty of food). Then for entrees we had the pad thai and yellow curry with tofu each with a side of coconut rice and both entrees were really great! But next time I would order a spicer curry such as green or red curry since... More
