I had driven by Ghandi a few times and wondered how could we get great curry in Carbondale. I could not believe who wonderful it was. Start with the vegetable pakoras, spiced right and add some mint sauce, they were delicious. I ordered the lamb curry bowl and it was very good. My wife ordered the chicken tikka masala, it... More

Gandhi has great Indian food (it is spelled wrong in Trip Advisor, FYI). If you want it spicy, just ask for it that way. The atmosphere is interesting, with lots of Indian artifacts inside. Service is average if it is busy, but otherwise fine. Order an Indian beer to go along with your meal, and of course, don't forget a... More

A sad decline. For 2 years we made a point of stopping at Gandhi Restaurant. A year ago we noticed the dishes had less flavor. The same dishes are now devoid of taste.

Excellent northern Indian food, including super naan. Unexpected delightful change from varieties of Mexican and American steak houses in Colorado towns. Great service.

If you have a few hours to spend on a meal then your in luck. Because this place is slow and the staff is not attentive at all. The food is so so.

It's about time we got a solid Indian place in the valley. I tried a bunch of the staple dishes and each one was pretty good. The Tandoori options are well done and tasty and the breads are great. Going to be hit and miss on the curries as everyone has different tastes for those dishes but all in all,... More

The lunch plate is the best deal. It is the size of a giant's head and includes Naan. I had the lamb special which included Spinach Paneer and rice. It was enough for 3 meals. Also love their Mango Lassi but I'm sure it's loaded with sugar and mango flavor. I don't know why it's so orange, when I make... More

Sorry, but we were really excited to eat here as Carbondale is closer than Glenwood Springs if you are in search of Indian Food in Aspen. We biked down there for lunch, and although it's in a strip mall, the inside looks pretty nice! Service was fast, but boy or boy was it gross. The eggplant bhata dish was ALL... More
