Old 50's diner

Fine place. 50's style diner with 50's style food. Delicious burgers and so much more. The best chocolate malt in Canon City.

Would not return. Just not a great experience. Too many other choices in town. FOOD - Average. Wasn't horrible but wasn't all that great. SERVICE - good MUSIC - way too loud ATMOSPHERE: cute diner with 50's decorating

We ate in this old-style-tacky 50's themed "diner" three times while in the area. Entry is part of a Shell gas station store, it's clean and friendly, with fresh-cooked food they adjusted to my low-sodium needs. The dinner specials for seniors helped on the price. Great homemade rolls and a soft-serve machine.

We are new to dining in Canon City and tried Big Daddy's Diner for lunch. The decor and cleanliness was acceptable. The service was poor. The food was truly awful. It seems hard to go wrong with a Frito Pie but it was runny and soggy with limp lettuce. My husbands fries were greasy and cold. Overpriced and will never... More

Good affordable food with fun 50's flair! Shakes, burgers etc. Breakfast was great..I had Belgian waffle, eggs, hash browns, & bacon $7. 550's music. Family oriented. Has a gas station- convenient store.

Reminiscent of a '50s diner. Our server was very friendly and the food was average -- what one might expect for this type of restaurant. My husband had a "bowl" of chili that was more the size of a tureen. He enjoyed it, and my BLT was good. Very conveniently located near the Royal Gorge Railroad.

Was handy to hotel and train, prior to continueing trip farteher west. Prices seemed a hair higher, but place is clean and service was very good. Value is good, food was not fancy but very good. I would go there again.

Very good food, good selection, and the service was great. The prices were also very good. The atmosphere was like a 50's diner, loved it and would definitely go again.
