Never to return

The staff was nice, the food--so-so.A filet mignon never looked like theirs. After we were finally seated, there were several empty booths and tables, we were promptly waited on. RIbeye was delicious. Found some grit in the mashed potatoes. Generous sized helping. Definitely worth a visit for the steaks.

This is about the best option in town. We were skeptical at first. The dining room was almost empty. But the furnishings were clean and decorative. The fireplace was not lit and could have enhanced the ambiance. I ordered pasta marinara and everyone else in our party went for chicken fried steak. All was freshly made and oh so delicious.... Parking lot full of local vehicles at 745pm led us to stop in to eat. Found restaurant side quiet with three or four couples dining, decided to sit in more open and airy bar side. Found wait staff to be a bit rough around the edges, but food was awesome. They are obviously in Cattle country. Hand cut steaks and... More

We are not beef eaters so we tend to stay away from Steakhouses; however, we were pleased with the menu at this restaurant. I had some very good and tasty grilled salmon and my spouse found a meal he really like too. Half of the restaurant has a sports bar feel to it, so you will have to listen to... More

The food was good, I have to admit that. My wife said the pasta marinara was good and obviously home made. So were the mashed potatoes with my chicken fried steak (I'll ship over the chicken fried steak itself). The side salad was surprisingly fresh. The atmosphere and service was oddly poor. For the size of the place, it seems... More

It's not in my nature to be cruel, but if you feel that you must eat here walk in and give them $50, turn around and walk out, go across the street, and buy 2 cans of Vienna Sausage. You'll be a lot happier

After a long day of travel across Kansas we stopped in Burlingyon for the night. Not wanting to drive for dinner we opted to walk across from the motel to the Route. The decor is a bit dated but clean. Anita our server was very accommodating and friendly. The food was outstanding. Ribeyes are cut to order and grilled perfectly... More

We had been on the road for 18 days. We just wanted a nice Steakhouse to eat at. We checked with OnStar and our GPS. This was the ONLY thing in the area. It looked good on paper, But that was it! The waitstaff was great but the food was not so good. I always get a "Filet" all meat... More

Well the outside apperance should have been our first clue. Not that it was shabby, just not in prime condition. We had looked elsewhere to eat but places were closed so we chose to eat here. We had the strip special. I asked what was on the potatoe and was told cheese, butter, chives, bacon, and sour cream. After bill... More
