Large helpings of delicious food

If you know and love tampiquena definitely try theirs. My wife ordered a very basic asada burrito off the ala carte menu and it was delicious as well. The service was good, but the restaurant was packed so prepare to wait for a seat.

If only that were enough. Food was skimpy in size and skimpy in flavor. The refried beans that came with my juevos rancheros couldn't have been more than 1/8-1/4" deep. And the rice was spread one-rice deep. Both needed extra seasoning from the table. Eggs were yummily fried, though. The attentive, very friendly service made the difference between an average... The food was prepared fresh, I had the chili relleno and my friends had the "carne asado" burrito. We all raved about the salsa and the staff was very friendly. We had a margarita too which was the perfect compliment to our meal.

We were pleasantly surprised by the extensive menu that had fish and seafood options, well beyond the standard Mexican fare. Chips and salsa were generous (and the salsa was great!). Service was friendly and attentive. Atmosphere was cozy.

We live here in town and love to go to dinner here. They have happy hour from 3-6 and have the best margaritas. Very friendly service and great tasting food at a reasonable price. You can't go wrong eating here.

This is a great local Mexican Food restaurant which has excellent service, attentive staff and very good food. It is easy to get plenty of good food and a drink for less than $15. Very diligent staff and great experience.

My husband and I went to El Paraiso for lunch. I had a beef enchilada and chili relleno and he had the carnitas. The staff was very friendly with excellent service. Restaurant was clean. But the food was not that great. The beans had no flavor and it tasted like they put nacho cheese on my chili relleno! The chili... More

not a bad place. Server was very nice, and it was clean. The food was average, but not bad. It was the best option for Mexican in the town, so I'd hate to eat at the other ones! I would go back, my strap daughters tacos looked great and I'd like to give them a try!

Peggy and I had dinner here last night, braving the streets after six inches of snow during the day. The place seats 56 but felt intimate because of the several different small rooms. I had the giant burrito, with rice and beans, which was large enough to take the extra home to provide me a lunch as well. Peggy had... More

Boring, bland food made with no love. Boring, bland food made for tourists from the places in the USA where they eat boring, bland food. Colorado green chili with no pork, no picante taste and cool (temperature). Not recommended. - Prices are too high. $8.50 for a small burrito plate. - Store-bought chips. - No flavor. No spice. - Cheap... More
