Great location on the highway with great service, food, and patio to enjoy the views. Will go back for more.
I visited Bongo BIlly's on a short vacation last year, and I loved their coffee. What a great place to start your day! It seemed like a hot spot in town, and they have great views of the mountains from their porch. Highly recommend this spot for anybody passing through town.
This place is now called The Brown Dog Coffee Co. I noticed that Bongo Billy's wasn't so good as it used to be on a visit in 2012, I think. The new management seems to have raised the standards. Not yet a perfect cup, but a good cup. I had a cappuccino.
Um, stopped in for an afternoon cup of coffee and found that the name has changed. Inside looked the same but the service was spotty. Really bad cup of coffee...I sent it back for a fresh cup. I rarely do that but it was awful. I hope this was just a random event.
I heard so many good things about Bongo Billy's, I couldn't wait to try it. I had the califlower soup. It was pretty good. I also got half a chicken salad sandwich. It was pretty good, too. On the road for 4 hours lovely place to come across, freshly ground coffee with a smile and a chat. They do over 25 different type of coffee drinks so plenty of choice - I always go for a Latte
We had breakfast here and it was very good. The coffee was superb and the prices were reasonable. It is always nice to find a local coffee shop in small towns when travelling . Bongy Billy's did not disappoint. It could have a better name though. LOL!!!!!
This is the best place in this town to get a cup of caffeine. In particular, it has a selection of espresso specialty drinks that puts Starbucks to shame. My only complaint is that the layout seems deliberately designed to make navigating the building almost impossible when there are many people in line to get their Bongo Billy's fix. This... More
Referred by a friend and I was not disappointed. Right on the main street in Buena Vista 2 miles north of the turnoff for Hwy 285. Friendly staff and fresh food and drinks. You can sit inside or out on the front porch.
I always stop here on my way through Buena Vista. The coffee is great as is the food and service. Great place to always check out local events and festivals around town.
