The wait staff was surly and the food barely edible. Eat somewhere else. Anywhere else. This was one of the most unsatisfactory dining experiences ever.

This restaurant is a gem. I like food that has been freshly prepared with care and this is what we received. Simple and delicious food at a fair price. The atmosphere was great as was the service. And who can resist a name like Coyote Cantina while motorcycling from Denver to AZ

BUT, good food and a favorite place to eat every time we go through Buena Vista. Not just Mexican fare.

Heading to Denver, few places in between to stop for lunch. The restaurant itself was nicely decorated and the staff pleasant; the food however was terrible. Prior to ordering I asked the waitress what she recommended, she said the staff typically like the quesadilla, assuming it would have been better, I wish I'd headed her advice.

Nice lunch stop on our way back to Metro Denver from St. Elmo, CO. Good beer selection, reasonable prices. I had the taco/Enchilada combo and it was delicious, including the beans and the rice! Service was pleasant and attentive.

Love the atmosphere of this restaurant, it was a welcomed site because we were hungry and ready for some drinks. The margarita was pretty good, our waitress was friendly right off the bat. The food did take a little while to arrive, however our waitress Kris was wonderful and made the wait seem like a moot point. Once we got... More

The interior restaurant decorations are a lot of fun. The service was attentive. The portions were generous, but the food was just okay.

They were having a number of issues the day we visited. I'm not sure what the problem was, but they were very unprofessional and didn't keep the issues from the customers. The food was okay.

We stopped here clearly by chance on our drive from Northern Colorado to see the Great Dunes National Park and on to Santa Fe. The place was quite crowded, but we were seated and served promptly. I could tell that some of the people were becoming frigidity about their service, but the place was packed and bustling. The decor was... More
