I've eaten at this place few times over the years. It is pretty nice and big Mexican restaurant just off the road. Food comes fresh and fast.

Traveling through stopped for a bite to eat and a drink. Waited 15+ minutes in the musky hoottt bar. After the 15 minutes we finally had someone come to our table. She took our drink order and food order. Let me remind you we were already done with our chips and salsa before she took our order. We then waited... More

Waited 10-15 minutes to be seated, arriving at the tail end of the lunch rush. Once seated, there was another short wait for menus and drinks. Then there was a longer wait for food, maybe 20-25 minutes. No chips, no salsa, no nothing. Our waitress was too intent on bussing all the dishes left on the other tables. When the... More

As Canadian tourists travelling thru from Denver to Aspen, we were glad to have stopped at the Coyote Cantina for lunch. It felt authentic in terms of letting us experience a basic local restaurant/bar as opposed to some cookie cutter chain. Service was fine and the food better than expected. Looks like it would be a lot of fun in... More

Waited fifteen minutes for waitress to come and the place was pretty empty on a Wednesday night. Just felt dirty inside. Food was marginal at best. Not really tasteful and Mexican should have flavor. Prices okay, but quality and service not worth it.

Nice down home feel to the cantina. We have always had good service the many times we have been there. It is a local favorite for us. Primarily Mexican flavor, but the have a variety of American choices on the menu. Interesting atmosphere. Good place to stop when in the Buena Vista area. If you are in the area during... More

We stopped in around 4 pm the server I ordered a diet Pepsi. The server gave me an attitude because the rear bar did not have soda and she had to go up front to get it. She was in a bad mood and wanted to pick a fight with me she just kept going on and on so finally... More

This is a fun restaurant for the kids to wander around while waiting for your food. My boys especially liked the jail cell and all the eclectic stuff on the wall. The food was tasty (I had the fajitas) and service was pretty quick. Was able to get back on the road to Crested Butte in good time.

On our way to Cascade, my boyfriend and I decided to stop here for some lunch. It's much bigger than it looks from the outside and looks like a locals hangout. It was midafternoon, so not too busy, so we were seated right away. the service is great, while the food is average. I had a guacamole tostada and cheese... More

It's not fancy but if you're looking for decent food and beer at a decent price...this is the place. I REALLY like the CC...it's great as far as hole-in-the-wall roadside places go. Service can be a little slow, oddly enough especially when the place is empty...but chill out, relax, if it's warm outside have a seat on the patio and... More
