Nice place, good food and excellent service

Recommended by friend to have a Birthday Dinner, Swiss Haven turned out to be a great experience. We were a somewhat large party of 10, including a 10 year old kid and a couple of teenagers and we all loved the food, the place and the great service

The food was good but really expensive. We've been here before so I know to expect that, but it seems like the quality was not quite as high as it should be for the price you pay. Also, I think if the prices are that high cloth napkins and nice flatware are a must. Instead you get a cheap paper... More

A family of 6 (4 adults and 2 children ages 11 and 8) ate at Swiss Haven last week. The children's portion of mac and cheese was very, very large even for an adult. The appetizers of carpachio and sushi were fine. There were very nice bottles of wine in the $40 price range, which was good for a restaurant.... More

Lynn and I spent our last night in Breckenridge dining at Swiss Haven. This has become somewhat of a tradition since our friends that ski with us are bigger fans of fondue than we are. We started our meal with a mixed cheese fondue which was quite tasty. We followed the cheese with two platters of mixed meats (steak and... More

This is a gem of a restaurant in Breckenridge. Two Swiss brothers own it and can be found interacting with guests almost every night. The owners are so kind and truly value their customers. The service was excellent- especially for a mountain town known for ski bum wait staffs. We ordered a pot of cheese fondue and a deluxe grill.... More

The food here is authentic and very good; however, it is also very, very expensive for what you get. The specialty is fondue, and there are a good variety of cheese and meat fondues, as well as chocolate fondue for dessert. The service is great. But your bill will be higher than it should be.

It has been said before, the portions are very small. They tell you that one pan of cheese fondue will suffice for 2-3 people. I can tell you it is not. One adult and one child could maybe do with it. So in fact this makes it very expensive. But on the positive side, this is real Swiss cheese fondue.... More

Wine list is over-priced. Cheese fondue was good, but the bread was awful. They need to find a better bread. Loved the scraped out cheese at the end. They are nice here and try, but we think it is a bit overpriced for the food quality.

This was our second holiday vacation spent with my wife in Breckenridge in a row. We didn't make a reservation last year and unfortunately for us they couldn't accommodate us. We did reserve our table this time and I can honestly say we didn't have any regrets! The restaurant was really busy but we got seated right after we arrived.... More

Swiss Haven made my vacation to Breckenridge unforgettable! From the delicious food, wine, and great company I couldn't ask for a better way to end my holiday. It was worth every minute of our wait. I highly recommend checking this place out and I can't wait to return on every trip I make to Breckenridge!
