I don't know why it's so hard to find decent fresh salads while I'm on vacation, perhaps I'm not looking in the right places. Blue River Bistro delivers on the salad front though. I ordered the kale-quionoa salad and my companion ordered the roasted beet salad. They were both beautiful and delicious. After the warm-up we shared an order of... More

We visit Breckenridge about once every two or three years and the Blue River Bistro is on our list whenever we are in town. The Menu offers a nice variety of entrees and we chose the Blackened Salmon Special and the Chicken Parmesan. Both meals were wonderful. They also have a nice selection of wines (Not the largest I have... More

Loved the live Jazz on Saturday. Enjoyed it during Happy Hour and through our dinner. Was far enough away from the Octoberfest goings on in the downtown area that it was not crowded. Fantastic choice of appetizers during the 2 for one at happy hour. Had a super menu. Lamb Chops were cooked to perfection and Chicken Parmesan was reeally... More

After checking in at Mountain Thunder Lodge, the desk clerk recommended Blue Bistro as one of her favorite places to eat in Breckenridge. It is a short walk from the Lodge. The atmosphere was very upscale casual. The staff took really good care of us. Very attentive. We highly recommend the crispy shrimp as an appetizer. One of the most... More

We enjoyed lunch on the lovely patio and managed to dodge the afternoon rain showers. Never had ordered a burger here and was very pleased with the bleu cheese burger. Larger and juicier than Empire burger and just a few bucks more. Don't have to pay extra for fries and they were some of the best!! Love their double fried... More

First time out in 13 years and wanted to visit my favorite restaurant from back then. The Blue River Bistro did not disappoint. Personal service, an updated look and especially the fabulous cuisine were all abundant. I hope another decade plus does not pass before I am able to return to savor this dining experience.

The entire table had burgers and they were great! They quickly accommodated our large party. The only thing I didn't care for was the temp of the restaurant. You could tell the heat was on and it was 60 some odd degrees outside. The server was pleasant and we had a nice meal.

our group was out bike riding all morning and we made breckenridge our lunch spot. blue river bistro had outside seating and seemed inviting. the menu offered the usual lunch options we see in summit county, so we went for salads (large portions with very fresh ingredients), wraps (big enough to share), and soups. everything was tasty and fairly priced... I've been wanting to go here for brunch for awhile now but I am never off on Sundays. Finally I had one off and my boyfriend and I had a wonderful time. We split the sliders a salad and steak and eggs. Add in some mimosas for only 3$ and how could you go wrong? Everything was delicious!
