2 meals in 2 nights. 2 completely different experiences. 1 man, 1 woman, 1 waitress...and 1 man with a guitar... Matt White presents, The Blue Riv..... just kidding. Seriously though, this place was great. We went for happy hour and wound up going back for my birthday the next night, even though we had to wait through a 30 minute... More

We stumbled upon this epicurean delight on Main Street in Breckenridge and were quite pleased with our find. The host and wait staff were professional and attentive and made helpful suggestions on their diverse menu. The hummus appetizer was great if only a little too small for a party of 5 to share. I had the blue cheese burger which... More

After a long and steep challenge of Peak 7, we enjoyed a huge and tasty brunch at Blue River Bistro. Close to the gondola--which was great as we were knackered after climbing above 11,800 feet, bushwhacking all the way! We've eaten here several times and like the food, although the service is a bit slow. Still, our server was very... More

Many lunch places on Main Street in Breckenridge have very similar menus, so it's always fun to find a place with somewhat different items as well as good service. We shared an excellent Chinese chicken salad and a salmon BLT, both of which were nicely prepared and reasonably priced. The place was crowded, so the kitchen was a bit slower... More

I have never had worse service in my life. The staff was beyond disrespectful and when we tried to return the frozen risotto the manager told us "it is what it is". This place should be ranked below any fast food restaurant. This is an embarrassment to "fine dining" as it should really be called trash. Rude. Terrible. And slow

We had a great lunch here. My friends thought the fish tacos were excellent. The flavor of the sauce was the perfect complement to the Ono (which was cooked just right). The soup of the day was a tomato based vegetable which was delicious. The salmon BLT was very tasty. This will be on the list of "go back to"... More

I guess this is the best Italian in town, but the competition is only Pizza places. I ordered the Salmon dish with Orzo. The Salmon was wonderful but the Orzo was very overcooked. My wife ordered Chicken and prosciutto pasta. The so called Prosciutto was actually just sliced Ham that had been fried which was a big disappointment. The server... More

We try to come to the Keystone/Breckenridge area every summer and this is our second time for lunch at Blue River Bistro. This is a great place for lunch. We ate outside as the weather was fantastic. The hit is the baked mac and cheese. My daughter swears it is the best she has ever had. My burger was very... More

Wonderful lunch outside. We had the special ham spinach wrap with beef and potato soup . Beautiful scenery. Took the other half of the wrap back to the condo for later. Wonderful relaxed service. Saw several other dishes I would eat.

We sat outside and enjoyed the beautiful weather...perfect cocktails and good artichoke dip (with pitas!) I had the Chicken Marsala and garden salad (both full of flavor!) My husband had the Penne Roberto which was the best thing of all!
