Just didn't have a stellar experience....we were seated in an awkward location where one of the party had to look directly into the service area (even though other tables were available). Tiger shrimp appetizer was great as was tortelloni w/ garlic cream sauce. Chicken parmigiana was huge but average. Martini wasn't particularly cold, and vegetarian entree (Mujaradara) w/ faro, zucchini... More

Reading reviews of this place, all I heard about was the drinks and happy hour. Why in the world are people not writing about the food. The food is fantastic, I had a filet, My wife had mahimahi, and our friend had the pork shank. All three were fantastic. We also had a great scallop appetizer that was incredible. The... More

I went here with a couple of friends and we had a wonderful time. The service was friendly and timely. On to the food - The trout is all caught locally so I figured that would be the right choice - it was delicious - sautéed with sage & shallot, beet beurre blanc is nothing short of YUM. But the... We have been coming to Breckenridge for years and this is our favorite happy hour spot. 2 for 1 appetizers, which are delicious and enormous. 2 for 1 martinis and 50% off bottles of wine( you can take opened bottles of wine home in Breckenridge) make for a really good value. Get there early since the place fills up with... More

I recently went to Breckenridge, CO. for a family ski vacation. We went to the Blue River Bistro for dinner and were very pleased. The atmosphere was great with a live band, great lighting, and great waiters. The food was fantastic. I highly recommend the Blue River Bistro.

Only on Sundays, but worth the wait...great bennies. Can get busy with large parties but smaller groups/couples can sit in the bar.

We have been here before for Brunch and have had a nice time with good food. So, we figured it would be a nice place to spend a special occasion such as Thanksgiving. We made reservations and were greeted warmly and seated on time. That is pretty much where the good stuff ended....this was the saddest, most miserable Thanksgiving dinner... More

A little outside of the main traffic zone on main street, Blue River Bistro is a cool, hip place with lots of live music and a very attractive menu selection for the two Happy Hours. Like some restaurants in Breckenridge, Blue River introduced the second (late) Happy Hour a year ago and we love the chance to have little snick-snacks... More

I adore the happy hour we had at Blue River Bistro. The music was nice, the service perfect, the food and wine awesome. No remarks. I fully recommend a visit when in Breck there is no room for mistake there.

If you like Mahi Mahi you are better off getting the fish taco's. They only give you about 3 oz of fish with 9 oz of fattening risotto. Your best to come at happy hour only..
