We ate here around 6pm one evening - had bubbles, a rack of lamb, and seared tuna. Waitstaff was friendly and professional - food was prompt and tasty. The rack changes - I had the special for the night, parmesan crusted plus sauteed brussel sprouts and butternut squash with ham. Wife had seared tuna with Japanese black rice and bok... More

Eat here the night after another top 5 restaurant in Breckenridge. The differences accentuated what separates a good restaurant from a great. Service and decor were flawless. The food indeed was the crowning jewel. In particularly the Elk dish was the finest I have ever had.

Had trouble booking this place - even 3 weeks before our arrival there were only late reservations ie 8.30pm available. Lovely building, especially covered in snow but be warned; we arrived 10 minutes early and were told that the small bar was completely overloaded and therefore if we wanted a drink we would have to have it by the reservation... We came here for New Years (will need a reservation) and it did not disappoint. This restaurant was recommended by friends and the food/service was top notch. The elk and steaks were great, drinks were too. Next time I am in Breckenridge I will be back to Hearthstone.

Visited here as heard good things but have to say was unimpressed. We went for the Happy Hour and although the service was good the food and wine selection was poor. We have never been back as they're better places to go in Breckenridge that offer better value and ambience.

Very good quality food. Entrees very slow and not served together. This should be a five star experience but slow and un-coordinated service has let this restaurant down. Great setting but get the service quality sorted !

We ate at Hearthstone last week while we were in Breckenridge, and it will now be on my "Must Do" list each time we visit. The service was excellent. We were unsure about the wine we wanted to order, so the waitress offered us a taste of what she recommended. I really appreciated that since we didn't have to buy... More

My husband and I came in to town to visit my daughter who recently moved to Breck. This was our "big night out" and was well worth it. Our table of five sat at the best table in the place - upstairs with a nice view of Breck from our window table. I had the sea scallops which were plentiful... More

We dined here our second night in Breckenridge and made sure we returned before we left town. Charm oozes out of this two story Victorian. The wine selection was very reasonably priced. I shared four appetizers with my husband for dinner: the crispy lobster, medjool dates, tenderloin tips and fries and the chef's special mussels in tomato/lobster broth. We were... More
