Our table ordered filet mignon and prime rib. The filet was tasty and obviously a fine USDA "prime" beef. The prime rib a tasteless, over cooked and tough USDA "choice". Avoid the Mac and cheese side. I had two lovers of Mac and cheese at the table and neither could it. The Brussel sprouts With chorizo were excellent.

The happy hour in the bar is AMAZING! Have to get there early (starts at 4:00) but food is delicious, atmosphere makes you feel like a local and impressive wine list.

Food here is terrific. Expensive, but worth it. Everything is ala carte to don't look for the spud and salad to come with your steak! Bar is super cool, tin ceilings, loud and fun.

The Briar Rose came highly recommended for great steaks! The three of us enjoyed a nice dinner--two of us ordered filet and the third ordered Rocky Mountain trout. Everything was fantastic, as well as the salads and sides! Service was also fantastic at a very busy time of year during Christmas week!

Go during happy hour. Get Mya as your waitress. The drinks are reaaaaally good, especially the berry one. We ordered the korean beef, the mac n cheese, fries and the asparagus. All were delicious. The staff was really friendly and accommodating! Surprise find.

Came to this restaurant based on high reviews on the website. Had these fantastic blue cheese truffle chips at the bar and was very excited for the meal. The steak arrived and it was clearly overcooked which was a bummer. The rest of the a la carte was pretty good. Will certainly give this another try on the next trip.

Appetizers are great. Steaks are very good. Sides feed an army. Drinks, wine and beer are good and reasonably priced. Cozy dining room. Leave the kids at home -- this is an adult place.

This was our second visit and we were disappointed. Food quality: Their beef tartar remains one of the best we've had. Mac&Cheese continues to be good. Brussels sprouts--their signature side dish--dry and over cooked. Duck terrible--appeared to be deep fried! Steak--inconsistent--side by side comparison of two medium rares was different! Cheesecake was good. Service: Poor. Poor knowledge of the food... More
