One of the best meals I've ever had

Quite pricey, but you get what you pay for. We were given a thank you gift card from a friend who stayed with us but who'd eaten at Briar Rose before. The restaurant has a nice, darker, romantic environment which wasn't the best with 2 young kids, but the meal was still great.

Just one block off the main drag in Breckenridge, many people unfortunately either do not notice this charming mid price restaurant or else they mistake it for a house of ill repute based upon its dark pink exterior. The place is a friendly saloon with old fashioned tin ceiling and wood bar . Only the TV's showing sports reveal you... More

Great lace, fairly high priced excellent service and great fine dining options. Had bison short ribs, which were outstanding. Wine selection on the expensive side but a great dining experience.

The exterior of the restaurant is what kept us from visiting the last several trips to Breck..Bright pink exterior and had the feeling of a saloon type atmosphere. .SHAME ON US. While in Breck this weekend, several people mentioned how great the food was at Briar Rose. They were right. We went in with the idea of sitting in the... More

The family and I dined here while on our annual ski trip. Had been here seven years ago and when we decided to come back to Breckenridge , this was the first reservation made! My son had the bison short ribs that may be the best item on the menu!! My wife and youngest son ordered the prime rib, also... More

This was our first time at this restaurant. We had always dismissed it as we thought it was a saloon type place. However our concierge encouraged us to give it a try and she was right. The atmosphere inside is one of fine dining- white table cloths and waiters in suits. The food was excellent, the short rib and mash... More

Everyone at the table LOVED their dish. Salmon, Elk, Steak... it was all VERY good. I almost went with 4 stars, but it was such a good experience and meal, I have to go with 5 for this review. A bit off main street (1 block or so), so it's a bit more quiet outside and they get less foot... More

Our family went to Briar Rose to celebrate a recent birthday of mine. It's one of my favourite places so we booked ahead of time and we all looked forward to going there. Although I enjoyed it as much as always my family were a bit disappointed in their steaks either because of flavour or the way it was cooked.... More

Food is awesome, small place so can get a little noisy when busy. Mic was our waiter and did a great job with questions and recommendations. Decent wine list. Be sure to make reservations well in advance!
