For some reason the beautiful town of Breckenridge, Colorado does not have an abundance of above average restaurants to have breakfast. The Columbine Cafe breaks the mold and is easily the best place in town to have your first ( or second) meal of the day. Try the Trout and eggs or their other House specialties. The lines waiting to... More

Incredible breakfast at a great price. If you're a breakfast lover, you cannot miss this spot! Service is great. Fun, casual atmosphere. Great cappuccino.

I saw the review on trip advisor and thought it would be a great place for breakfast. We were going whitewater rafting that day and wanted a big breakfast to hold us over. It's a small place, but kinda quaint. We were seated right away. Server was nice. Food was tasty. But.......$50 for a family of 4? That was steep-... More

But it was worth the wait. Friendly waitstaff went for breakfast. I can tell this is a Breckenridge tradition. Go for it

This was our 3rd trip to Breck (the first in the summer), and we haven't eaten out much because of the crowds. We hadn't had a chance to shop for food yet, so we went looking for a Saturday late morning meal. I found the menu in a Breck dining booklet and my teenage boys thought it looked great. Though... This place was recommended by one of the locals to my husband & I. They were very busy so we just took a seat at the bar. Kevin the bartender gave us some excellent recommendations. He also made us a wonderful Chocolate Chai latte and Snicker Bar latte! It was a very enjoyable breakfast!

The Columbine Cafe is like your favorite worn out shirt. In a tourist town like Breckenridge it feels like one of the few authentic spots that isn't worried about catering to (or ripping off) the tourists. Its not fancy but it provides a filling breakfast before you head out to explore the mountains.

we love going here every time we are in Breck, 2-4 times a year. Their food is wonderful but the last couple of times had very bad experiences with the service!!! If you sit at a dirty table to wait or wait 30 min for you food you don't dare say a thing or they will let you know you... More

We had a party of seven and the restaurant was packed for the breakfast crowd. We placed our name on the waiting list and two minutes later we were seated, very surprising. Their breakfast menu has a great deal of variety with dishes that are common with a twist. The salmon eggs benedict was very good. My wife ordered their... More
