Imaginative and very good food!

A very quiet evening, (during the slow season), with impeccable service and both appetizers (Kindle) and Entree (Blaze) were fabulous. Sorry we didn't have room left for dessert, all of which sounded very good. We did have a special treat however--we were sitting near a window and saw a very bushy... read more

Something worrying is happening in Breckenridge. For the last fifteen years or so the quality of the restaurants is deteriorating. Good restaurants have closed and in the same premises cheap and characterless eateries have sprung! Is this reflecting the demand of the visitors nowadays? Ember uses the premises of the now defunct Alpine. The good news is that they are... More

Food pairings were thoughtful, harmonious, and creative. We couldn't have found a single thing to improve. Such a treat to find an outstanding restaurant in a resort town that is also good value. We left very happy!

We had dinner at S.Valentine night. We were lucky to find a table, but were surprised by a quality dinner with special menu, but the snapper and the tuna were the best. The selection of wine was also quite good and counted with a variety of wines for everybody.

The martini's I ordered were dangerously smooth. So good, made with fresh ingredients. The bartender was super friendly and made great drinks. The bar itself is pretty cramped, low ceilings and a bit of an awkward layout. We probably wouldn't go again unless we were with a group who didn't care about atmosphere. We didn't eat there but I've heard... More

Was hoping for a nice family meal and that what this restaurant is best for. Service was friendly but strained as our waiter had to service tables on 3 levels. I have an 8&11 year old and selection is very limited. My wife and I had venison and it was ok. 2 chunks of beef sounded by sprouts ( not... More

We live in Denver and stayed at the Doubletree hotel for a few nights in early April. When we were looking for restaurants we were looking for something unique and/or different flavor profiles. We ended up deciding on Ember. Ember is just off of main street (1 block isn) which makes parking a lot easier. When we walked in the... More

We were sadly disappointed with ember. The service was great, comfortable atmosphere, but the food was just okay. The menu is exciting, but the taste was average. This was our first trip to Breckinridge, and we wish we would have dined elsewhere.

From the moment of arrival this place is hard to describe as it is so out of the ordinary. Every part of the dining experience is filled with knowledge of food, wine, cocktails (exceptional and creative), service and vision. Our party of four enjoyed beautifully curated courses with careful consideration given by the chef to sight, texture and taste. Presentation... More

Our party of six enjoyed our dining experience @ Ember in Breckenridge! So glad I made the reservation a few weeks in advance thru OPEN TABLE. All 6 were very pleased with their Main Course & appetizer. Service was excellent! Was able to change the time of the reservation without any hassle. Prices were very reasonable considering the gourmet presentation... More
