The service was top-notch, thanks to a very tuned in Jessica! Turns out this was one of her first nights, and she delivered big time! The menu options were nicely done, including the Berkshire Ribs appetizer. This was the standout! Their mussels were excellent, and the same for the Colorado chicken. The beef tartare was so-so. The presentation was off,... More

Wow, Breckenridge has a fine dining establishment that cannot compare to anything else in the city. We love Breckenridge for it's laid-back, casual atmosphere - but sometimes you want to get away from the casual American eats and opt for something nicer. MODIS IS THE PLACE TO GO. My husband and I laugh that when we are in Modis, we... More

Great bar atmosphere. Happy hour from 3-6 pm. Really knowledgeable bartenders. PEI mussels were outstanding. The Poutine was OK. No hunks of meat no gravy on the fries. Just sort of oily melted cheese. But it was still OK. Drinks were fabulous. Try the smoke infused old fashioned. Wow.

We only had drinks here...but I liked the atmosphere and the bartenders. Not just for tourists...lots of locals too.

Our daughter and son-in-law had been here before and loved it, so we thought we would try it. Although we were still in ski attire, they still seated us. Salads were all delicious, and each of the five of us had different entrees. Definitely the best meal we had in 4 days. Highly recommend.

Everyone seems to love this place. We didn't get it. "Fancy" food not living up to menu descriptions. Even vancier drinks. Walk on by.

Met a couple we know who live in Breck here for dinner. The food was great, and served in a creative, attractive presentation. Bar scene up front looked casual and fun. Prices were a little high for what they offered.

This is a great place to enjoy a really nice dinner after a long ski day. The food is really good and the service was excellent. Great place to enjoy a drink and dinner with friends.

Well the Vesper martini was superb.... I ordered the NY strip steak. It came with fries, which I didn't want, and broccoli. I asked if I could have more veg instead of the fries. Any veg - anything at all - no specific requests. I got the steak (nothing special, just a reasonable steak) some broccoli - not much and... More

Our server, Joya, was our well informed; sharing details about the menu that featured local foods. We started with "Sticky Ribs", sweet and savoury, delicious, not to be missed! The Modis Butcher Block appetiser included a blend of meats and pleasantly sharp cheeses combining interesting flavours. A bit noisy--actually very loud--for conversation while awaiting our main course. The Colorado Bass... More
