What a cool place. Awesome bar, pages of interesting cocktails and absolutely delicious food! We had the tuna three ways, special appetizer that was not only beautiful but tasted amazing. I had the scallops and pasta and finished every bite, so good. Loved it and would highly recommend.

We dined here one night because a friend recommended it to us. I should've done my homework here on TA, because we weren't looking for "fine dining" although I guess it was in between a nice restaurant and fancy. The food was pricy, and servcie a little slow, but overall I'd rate it as Good. It was nice to book... More

We had reservations at 7 pm, and were seated promptly despite a large crowd waiting in the bar area. Our server was great. this was our first night in Breckenridge...altitude 9600 ft, and feeling every foot above sea level. I had the butchers plate which is a collections of cheeses and meetings, and the spinach salad. I was pleased with... More

Bar and restaurant. Can't review food as we didn't eat but people we spoke to who did said it was excellent. However, sitting at bar has a really good atmosphere - wine list and cocktails are great and bar staff really friendly. Best to Jesse who cut his hand badly on our last night. Hope he's OK

When other restaurants seemed empty, it was difficult to get a table at Modis. We settled for the next day, at 9pm. It was worth the wait. The brussels sprouts were delicious, as was the sliced rib eye. Perfectly seasoned and cooked. We had no room left for dessert but it sure looked good too.

We had a reservation which was a good thing on a Saturday night during spring break. We were shown straight to our table. Appetizers were good, red wine special was good and the steak (NY strip) was good. The stuffed chicken had a side which was overdressed with a vinegary dressing and the salmon "special" was anything but. What marred... More

Hello my name is Teryn Guadagnoli, I am the owner at Modis and I was very concerned about your review. I do not allow my servers to be anything but pleasant and caring to our guests. Unless you have a reservation don't bother walking in to this restaurant. We went in to see if they have any opening for two - hostess gave us a look of “I can't believe you are asking me this and wasting my time “ - no opening’s or so we think- never did get an answer! We may have made... More

I am so sorry that you had the experience that you did with the hostess at our restaurant. Could you please tell me what night you came in and who you think you dealt with? I absolutely do not allow that type of behavior and my hostess' are supposed to do whatever they can to accommodate our guests. If you... More

We've been to Modis a few times over the last two years and on this visit, we invited some friends to join us for Hors d'oeuvres and some wine. We were greeted with a 'hello, welcome back!' from the owner when she recognized us from last year, which of course set a wonderfully warm and friendly tone for the evening!... More

Just found this gem of a place this year. They offer a relaxed atmosphere with a great late night menu and drinks. The important stuff: They make the most unique and delicious Manhattan I have ever had. They infuse the drink with a smoke, which not only gives the drink a unique flavor, but also provides a phenomenal aroma. The... More
