Yummy and filling

Food was tasty and inventive. We had the 6-course fixed-price. The only complaint is that the portions were really too big (especially with the fish and beef), and we couldn't control ourselves to stop eating!

What a great experience. All of the staff are so helpful, informative and friendly. They explain the wine options in detail with no judgement just great information. They can discuss the menu at length and give excellent recommendations. My husband had the tasting menu with wine pairing and I had an appetizer and entree. I will go back for the... More

Steps from the Pearl Street Mall is a dark and cozy (and small) restaurant with a very short route from farm to market. Chef/owner and his wife have the luxury and strong backs to run both a 140 acre farm and a restaurant. Clearly they must meet up at the Farmers Market once a week and that's it. Recommended by... Black Cat is amazing. My husband and I eat here as often as possible. We always get the tasting menu - it changes constantly based on what is harvested from their farm. The food is always delicious and creative, and it's so great that they can cater to your tastes/allergies/etc. I love the organic farm-to-table concept. The service is always... More

My go to dinner spot. Small and intimate, great staff and wine selection and I usually impressed with the dinner offerings. The menu can be a bit limited and some people i have taken there have had a hard time ordering. but is worth the trip.

The pairing of foie gras and California Riesling was a standout. The sommelier did a great job. A grand dining experience in a small package. Everything was special and extremely fresh

We went to Black Cat for our wedding anniversary with high expectations. We made reservations a couple days in advance but were given a tiny table next to the kitchen. We had to watch all food preparations and listen to staff talks, it was almost as if we were watching the Food Channel. There was no privacy at all. The... More

Upscale, farm to table, well prepared, innovative, and pricey. Eric is the owner and I suppose the executive chef. You can find him at the Boulder and Longmont farmer's markets selling the produce he grows in person. He is also often at the restaurant and loves to relate to the diners. I wish I could afford to go there more... More

Lots of folks will like this farm-to-table venue, but it is not to our taste. We weren't crazy about the food preparation or the selections. The salads were also a little unusual for our tastes. The wine list is good, the ambiance nice. Prices fairly high. If you like something different, try The Black Cat.

LIKES: Small but elegant, white-tablecloths and immpeccable Reidel wine glasses. Sommelier available and very knowledgeable. Beef and Pork (raised on their own farms) was SPECTACULAR. Veggies very unique and fresh. Also grown on their farms. Salads ery fresh. Our table of 6 was set in an private room setting. Perfect. Kitchen is open so you can see the Chefs. Dislikes:... More
