Fresh food..Reasonable price...

Me and my wife just randomly tried this place on a snow-hit evening. The food came after a while. The food was average Thai food you will get around Denver Metro area. They do serve quite large portions of food. So expect to-go boxes. Reasonable prices.

My friends took me out to Buddha Thai last night for my birthday. They wanted to try it based on the Boulder Weekly rating it the best Thai food in boulder. We all wish we had gone somewhere else. It was a thoroughly disappointing experience. The service was extremely slow. It took an hour and 10 minutes to get our... More

Goodness....I know I have reviewed Buddha Thai before, but do not see any of those reviews. Anyway, I met a friend for lunch at 1PM yesterday and when I entered the restaurant she was there and the place was FILLED. Lots of workers from around the area. DH and I and/or friends usually do an early dinner and the restaurant... More

I ordered vegetarian egg rolls and a green curry with tofu for delivery. I've had a lot of Thai food, but I've never had any with so much sugar in everything. Even the egg rolls had sugar in them. The green curry was mostly a soupy mess, with very few vegetables and just small cubes of tofu, hard to find... More

I don't think I've ever re-reviewed a restaurant so this is the exception. My wife and I just got back from New England and had Thai a couple of times. Both times it didn't even come close to my old neighborhood favorite so I thought I'd look back to see what Tripadvisor says about this one. i'm writing another review... More

Clean, simple decor -- Buddha Cafe doesn't offer plush, relaxed seating, but the food is good and the prices are reasonable. I've enjoyed the Drunken Noodles and See Yu. I'm not a big fan of their version of Pad Thai (every restaurant has its own way of making it.) but I'll be back again this year to continue trying other... More

We really like the food here. I had chicken pad Thai, 3/5, and it was wonderful. My companion had Thai fried rice with shrimp, also 3/5, also excellent. He is not so easy to please when it comes to any kind of Asian food, but he loves the Buddha Cafe. It tastes fresh and not greasy. Huge portions, easily enough... More

Authentic tasty Thai food. The staff is very nice, and helpful. Go easy on the spice scale, 3 is plenty spicy!

We went for lunch and ordered a red curry (beef) and a chicken pad thai. The portion sizes were large and the prices were right (soup included). You could customize how spicy you wanted your food. My complaint is that the pad thai had a tomato-based sauce. Some mouthfuls tasted like spaghetti...something I'm not accustomed to at a Thai restaurant.... More

This place is amazing. When you ask for 5/5, they mean it, most places dont. You can get brown rice at no extra charge and the to-go portions are so big that two people can easily share!! The chili oil and green bean dish are my favorite but the garlic pepper dish, pad see eyew and the tom yum soup... More
