Nice open air setup next to Pearl Street shopping area

Good drinks, priced around $7; happy hour dropped them to $5- really good value. You can order tacos of maybe 6 types, ala carte- one, two three or more- each $2.50. Very nice value- all tasted very good, healthy. Neat queso offering also. Good value for the money. Casual atmosphere, but nice.

Tahona has excellent margaritas, and I hope to return for more of their extensive tequila menu. Their happy hour snacks list is extensive. The fresh chips and spicy salsa were a great way to begin as we made the rest of our choices. We had excellent service, allowing us to order a bit at a time and continue to try... More

I would rate Tahona a lot higher if I was basing the review on margaritas and tequila alone. Those are quite enjoyable and although they might look on the small side in the short glass they pack a punch. They food is eh. Not very good. It is ok. Just know you are not going there for good mexican food.... More

This place was a ton of fun. Just a little bit off of the main Pearl Street walking mall, but still very lively. Outdoor seating great for people watching. Food was delicious...try the Queso Fundido and fish tacos.

If you're curious about Tequila, you can learn all about it at Tahona. Knowledgeable staff can steer you through their wall of Tequilas and Mezcals. Flights of Tequilas are helpful for comparison and you can sample hard-to-find or expensive ones. Fun for an after-dinner stop but their Mexican food is good too.

I've been here a bunch of times and rarely get to the full dinner menu because the happy hour menu has so much to offer. While they have extensive tequila and margarita choices, the regular and coin options on the HH menu are pretty darn good. All of the street tacos are good, but my favorite by far is the... More

Very nice place to sit and watch people pass. The waitstaff is very attentive and the food was good.

This fine restaurant and bar sits on the West End of Pearl. Plenty of room in the restaurant, at the bar, and some outdoor seating too. Nice vibe. An you gotta love the staff. Natasha is our favorite - nothing better than the genuine low key, get-to-know-you way about her. She's cool. James too. Personable, attentive, knows his stuff. Try... More

For our weekend in Boulder we were in the mood for Mexican and Tahona was spot on. The $2 pork and veggie tacos were huge hits for our group. The chicken taco was ok, but not nearly as good as the other two. The green chili smothered fries were top notch as was the chicken quesadilla. These have to rank... More

Can't wait to try to whip this one up on my own - althought i know I won't capture the 'goodness' of it -> Shrimp & Chorizo Quesadilla. My sister had the 'roasted chicken enchiladas' and had asked if there was anything really spicey on it. They had said no, but the beans or sauce were too much for her... More
