My husband and I went to Leaf Vegetarian Restaurant in Boulder to celebrate a special life event and we wanted to try something different. We are both carnivores, but thought we would give vegetarian a try. Not only were we served excellent meals, but we never "missed the meat". We had appetizers, main course and dessert! And although we both... More

I've eaten here several times and always enjoy. They've got some great and creative appetizers - try the Pimento Cheese Poppers, the Gnochi, and or the seared cauliflower. They've got good soup the changes based on the season/ingredients on hand, for entree's I like the Harissa Tofu or Beet Steak. The owners are wonderful and own several Boulder area restaurants.... I've tried to like this restaurant and the food was good but I had to give up on it because of consistently poor and sometimes impolite service.

Really nice ambiance and delishious food. My eggs were served over grilled polenta cakes with a light sauce. Served with a big bowl of fruit. No grease in sight! Also enjoyed some amazing vegan pumpkin bread. Better than my own home-made! Service excellent. Can't wait to go back next time we are in town.

Excellent appetizers, great entrees, ok desserts (carrot cake was the best and the banana tiramisu was bland). My husband loved the gnocchi and wished they had that as an entree. My son loved the cheese poppers and his friend enjoyed the starter that had leaves to wrap (don't recall the name). They have a 3 choice set price option for... More

I have been waiting impatiently since my daughter moved to Boulder in May to experience Leaf. This was her first restaurant experience and it left quite an impression. Since her first visit she has had some unhappy experiences with service, though the food has always been wonderful. Last night both food and service topped the charts. This is a restaurant... More

Whilst the west of the USA is a remarkable place it can be a bit of a struggle for vegetarians so Leaf comes as a welcome break from toasted cheese sandwiches! It is a smart restaurant which combines interesting flavours to produce tasty and sophisticated food. The service is excellent and their is a friendly vibe. The outside tables offer... More

Yes,,,,,,this is a meat eater speaking here.....and I must say this Resturaunt is outstanding!  Chef Racheal is doing really cool things with flavours and vegetarian cuisine.  I would suggest this dinning experience for the meat eater or vegetarian alike.  Wow......very very good.  Cheers to the chef and the owners.  We will be back, soon.

On a recent 6 day trip to the Boulder/Denver area, my wife and I enjoyed Leaf so much, we ate three of our meals there. The food was delicious, inventive, and fairly priced. Vegetarians and vegans will be delighted at the menu and even meat-eaters will enjoy themselves. None of the food is too "strange" for anyone leery of trying... More

I'm most certainly an omnivore. I like meat. I like vegetables. What I don't like are dishes that other than merely fulfilling some need to be vegetarian, aren't particularly enticing -- a plate of random vegetables, a dish in which the meat has clearly been removed, a dish with a "fake" meat element (faux foie for instance). I do like... More
