Of all the places we could have chosen this was the perfect choice! Unique and comfortable environment with a level of cuisine you wouldnt expect from a tavern in a tiny town. The food was next level fabulous, from the deviled eggs to the skillet cornbread. The burgers were out of this world and preprared to perfection and the sides... More

One of our favorite stops several times a year when traveling to Denver, great burgers, ribs and bbq. This time we took along a relative to share in an early dinner and ordered the chicken & biscuit, fried fish and a philly like beef sandwich special. The chicken was over cooked to the point our guest had trouble cutting and... More

Great atmosphere and local hotspot. The bar area is ornate with crafted wood. My Buffalo and Green Chile Burger was done to perfection; juicy and full of flavor - get the smoked gouda with it! The hand cut fries were superb! Finish your meal off with the cookie sundae which is baked to order and is worth the whole meal.

Stopped in to grab some lunch at West End after having not been for awhile! The menu looked very different. We had some fried green tomatoes to start followed by green chile soup and a hot beef sandwich. All three were absolutely fabulous! One of the best green chile soups I have ever had. The hot beef sandwich was served... More

We visited Boulder a few weeks ago and West End Tavern was suggested to us by a friend's sister who lives in Boulder. We always listen to the local's suggestions and I'm glad we did. We have a 2 year old and we're always looking for places to eat good food but also not feel uncomfortable with an outspoken toddler.... More

I hate to give any negative feedback but this place has been an institution and a once a month or more spot for me for the last 5 years. It has always had that laid back Boulder feel with a heavy foodie influence. It's a place I always bring out of town fiends for a classic Colorado experience. They have... More

Stopped in while visiting my daughter for an early dinner. Here is a tip. The Happy Hour plates are a fantastic deal and a great way to try several of their offerings. All were very good. We had the Chicken Slider, Chicken fried crispy but not greasy. Sauce was great. The ribs are very good. Preparation was smoked with a... More

The only good thing about this meal was the beer! The worst ribs I've ever had. My son had a burger & it was small & not very good.

West End has a good menu, value not the best, atmosphere very good. Has changed its menu as of last Spring, not as much Bar BQ as before, it was well known for that in Boulder. Prices can be high for its food, and all of their drafts cheat with a 14 oz serving, while charging a premier price for... More
