I am a Boulder local and one of the best things about Aji is that it is 2 blocks off the pedestrian section of Pearl St. What that means is that during happy hour you can often get a seat outside when every place else is full. Typically you can walk into Aji at anytime and get a table with... More

This is a nice place place to be in particularly in the after noon. They have good coffee and good drinks both alcoholic and not. The soups are especially good . They have lots of little things so you can craft just what suits you. The food is nuvo Latin and you can get stuff from hectic door if some... More

Went to Aji while visiting Boulder and a long string of wonderful experiences has been extended. Party of four had apps and drinks during Happy Hour (at great discounts) and everything was awesome. We drank three kinds of margaritas and the Black and Blue (Berry) Mojitos. We ate tacquitos, empanadas, ceviche, and the amazing blue corn breaded calamari. Everything is... More

Really dependable good food. The brunch has the best Huevos Rancheros I ever had in an American Restaurant, fresh crisp , something special. The chicken dish is always good and the spice is never over done. This is Latin Food. Original and still grounded in tradition. The owners make a real intense interest in seeing to it that you are... Met friends for dinner and all enjoyed the drink and menu selections, which were unique and pleasantly presented. Pleasant bistro atmosphere. Good value, too.

Local friends took me to this restaurant because they love the calamari. The empanadas were great and they have very tasty cocktails, including weird ones that are not on the menu. The service was very professional.

Our dining experience started off poorly at Aji. There was some confusion as to who our server was, so we sat unattended for a while, then the hostess came and asked if we had been served yet, and did go ask someone about it. It was still several more minutes until someone came over, which was good because we were... More

We went on a Sunday evening where the Happy Hour prices lasted all evening. We especially liked the pork empanadas and some of us loved the bacon-wrapped dates. The corn and truffles crepe was delicious as was the pork tenderloin. The waiter was excellent and was very friendly and accommodating about us sharing everything. I would skip the shrimp ceviche... While lunches and dinners I've had at Aji have always been good, we've mostly focused on Aji's excellent happy hour menu. The empanadas, ceviches, taquitos and hamburguesitas are all tasty and reasonably priced. Haven't ventured much past these happy hour items, but would expect others to be good as well. Service has always been good. Happy hour margs are the... More

Once again, we made Aji a destination, this time for our 4th of july weekend gathering with family visiting from out of town. Mixed results once again. We always enjoy the atmosphere, the lounge area with the kids and the outdoor patio; it's vibrant and appealing, and the happy hour menu is always a great value, with $2 taquitos and... More
