Vegetarians! Order from the LEAF Veg Restaurant menu - everyone is happy

I visited Aji twice, for lunch both times. On both occasions I was with non-veg friends who like Aji's fish dishes. The regular menu is not very vegetarian-friendly. On my first visit (quite a while ago) I didn't realize that both Aji and the Leaf Vegetarian Restaurant next door are owned by the... read more

My husband have eaten here frequently. We typically share the ceviche platter, which is always flavorful. The shrimp taco was too oily for me, but my husband loved his lechon (suckling pig) taco. The service is usually great, and I love that you can order off of Leaf's vegetarian menu also.

I don't know much about types of fish, but I've eaten ceviche every chance I could all Latin America for the last 45 years. I love it. I like it with yellow aji or bits of Serrano pepper or without anything picante. I like it with or without cilantro. I've had it with just jugo de limon or with some... More

The food at Aji is good but in an attempt to be Latin American, they seem tottery to put to many flavors together at one time. The primary "taste" appears to be Mexican but pairing jalapeño with delicate white fish kind of creates confusion. The Brazilian dishes are nice but not a s robust as in a Brazilian steak house.... Very nice restaurant -- sort of fusion Latin restaurant. Upscale food but quite inexpensive for the quality. The Moqueca -- a Brazilian seafood stew -- was superb, whole trout was very good. Don't bring kids, they'll be the only ones there.

Had pozole, really excellent, deeply flavorful and two tacos that cost $8, one Elk Chorizo, and the other pork. Each came on a single tortilla, and the sauce made it moist and falling apart – not a good way to eat tacos... Of more import, they had no flavor; chorizo should have that distinct chorizo flavor, and instead it was... More

We stopped here for a late lunch on Sunday after a half marathon. The food was AMAZING! I had the chicken soft taco, beef soft taco and an elk soft taco (appetizer or tapas) and also a cup of the chicken tortilla soup. Everything was amazing, especially the elk taco! I would have never thought I'd enjoy something like that!... More

My husband and I went to Aji for dinner about a year ago and thought it was decent, but just had a Happy Hour there that knocked our socks off. The spicy strawberry mojitos are the best I've ever tasted. We had four different tacos and they were all delicious. Definitely one of our new favorite places for Happy Hour... More

We were overwhelmed by the crowds on Pearl so we walked a little bit past and ended up at Aji for brunch this past Sunday. I had their Chicken and Waffles and I really liked the spicy zing they added to the chicken. I was delighted. My husband had some kind of Benedict item that he also really enjoyed. We... More

I had two meals at Aji - dinner and brunch. At Aji you can also order off the Leaf menu. While Aji is a carnivore's dream (Elk tacos- ?), Leaf's menu is vegan. A bit of an odd couple, but it works. It was great for our large group of people with highly varied dietary preferences. I enjoyed both meals..... More
