Lovely food, exceptional service

Preface: I'm not a "foodie", I don't know the owner or any of the staff, I had no idea who was who, and I did not go because of any desire to see and be seen. I went to dinner to treat myself to something different. Lovely meal from the 4-course menu. The tilefish was exceptional. The staff... read more

I would have given Frasca a high 4 rating but at these prices one expects a consistently superior dining experience. We did not. Among the many pros: professional and amiable service, interesting, attractive ambiance with a reasonable noise level, outstanding wine pairing, great bread and certain appetizers and entrees. "Certain appetizers and entrees." There it is. Aside from an inclination... More

Nice atmosphere, not overly decorated. Ask for a booth as chairs are very hard and uncomfortable. Noise level fairly high, don't expect intimate conversations. Plenty of staff but service a bit off.Waitress had to explain how to order (4 courses at once) and what the food was as menu was not clear. Had to ask for cocktails and they were... More

I had a business dinner and my guest suggested Frasca, saying that the food was good. Well, it's more than good, it was VERY good. We went on a Monday night and were lucky to find a tasting menu with four courses. Our starter was an Insalata of Beets, Arugula, Ricotta and Toasted Milk was fresh, light with just the... More

I have eaten at Frascas more than twenty times over the years, and I have never had a bad meal or a bad time. The leadership in the Kitchen from Lachlan, and in the wine service from Mathew Mather and Master Sommelier Bobby Stuckey is simply unique and incredible. My favorite thing to do is to have their price five... More

The food is fabulous -- no question. But I have only had a really good time at Frasca's when I was with one of my friends who knows the owners. If you're not an insider, you get an awful table wedged in between other tables, and find yourself wondering why you're paying a fortune for the experience.

We were treated to dinner to Frasca by old friends who live in Boulder. We had reservations for 4 at 7 on a Friday evening. Frasca is a first class experience and we greatly enjoyed the tasting menu. Every bite was exceptional. The staff is so friendly. The restaurant lacked the pretension that similar caliber places in a large city... More

Seriously, this is one of the few restaurants where I would get on a plane just to eat there. The menu changes frequently and is generally small. We generally sit at the bar where Ally is always able to recommend dishes that are particularly good that night. She is almost always dead-on. Standouts are their seafood dishes and pastas -... I can't explain it but every dinner at Frasca is better then the last. Team 10/10 Food 10/10 Ambiance 10/10 Wine service 10/10 * glassware 10/10 This was the 9th annual white truffle dinner celebration. Often these blow up and turn into a cruise ship over hyped disaster. Not here...world class dining with every effort to hit the ball out... More

My husband and I dined at Frasca about two years ago and had a mediocre experience. The service was lacking in areas and the food was not up to the price. We decided to give it another try for our anniversary this year. We had exactly the same experience as the first time. The service was not great. We were... More
