Go for the beers, but enjoy the food

So most of this review goes to the beers as Avery is one of the best breweries on the planet. The new taproom is sweet. I like the fact they kept some of the same vibe including the outdoor patio and open air design. It feels like a taproom should. Over 20 beers on tap including several taproom... read more

I liked the Avery Brewery a lot. We got a flight of beer and got to try a lot of beers that are only offered on site. I also ordered Brisket for dinner, which was amazing!

We stopped in last Friday for our first visit to Avery. The inside vibe was cool and busy with lots of customers. All of the wait staff were great, fast, friendly and welcoming and took the time to explain the beers and food menu. For me the Alaskan Cod fish, which is a special on Fridays as I understand it,... As a Belgian beer lover, it's sometimes difficult not to be prejudiced about the quality of beers you're expecting to get about anywhere abroad. For me, this is the place that has put an end to that once and for all. We got to taste several of their draft beers and were pleasantly surprised by every single one. Each beer... More

Excellent craft beers and delicious food. Our waiter was super friendly and the service was fast. We were also able to go on a self-guided tour of the brewery itself. We'll be back!

Avery had an almost overwhelming 31 beers on tap when we visited. Each one we tried was good, as was the food. This was also the largest of the breweries we visited in the area.

The service was friendly and attentive. Obviously lots of draft beers to sample or drink. 4 ounce samples for 1.50 to 2.50. Menu looks bigger than it is with 50% of the space being the different daily spring ials that you can't have. Kind of disappointing. Vegetarian selections and barbecue pork are 80% of the menu. Spare ribs we're good... More

Lots of choices for food and beer. The handling of outside sitters is a little dodgy. We had about four servers taking care of our one table of 4. They had a tendency not to communicate very well. The food and the beer was great but checking out etc was a bit of a chore. We decided to cut the... More

First of all Avery's beer selection is fantastic. It is an awesome place to go by yourself or with friends. Either way you will have a great time. The food is excellent with many choices. Every time I get to come home to Colorado, my brother, friends and I go to Avery. Highly recommend to everyone visiting the Boulder area.

The kitchen at the new brewery is a cut above the normal. Great selections that complement the beers. Always seem to find something that pairs well with the beers I want to drink that day. Dessert is not to be missed either.
