Love this brewery and they serve beer you cannot buy anywhere else like their sour beers. The atmosphere is casual and fun. Lots of outdoor seating. The food is great- simple sandwiches and such, a great way to spend a Saturday afternoon!

We visited on the Fourth of July and were seated in the back room which was nice and quiet. The servers were very friendly and helpful. It was obvious they enjoyed their jobs. We started with sweet potato bites and devoured every last morsel. I had the best pork barbecue sandwich ever. It was served on a toasted, buttery brioche... More

Wow! I have been drinking Avery for some time now, but have only been able to get a few of their beers on the East Coast (their Mephistopheles Stout kicked my butt one time). Stopped in here while visiting Boulder and was amazed by the amount of beer that they make. I would recommend getting a bunch of different small... More

We came here after a fun morning hike to cool off and sample some Colorado brews. Lots of brews to choose from, or try a flight of small tastes. I was introduced to my first taste of sour beer....and became an instant believer. Food is brought over from a catering company next door and our sandwiches were excellent!! I hear... More

Decided to visit Avery on a Sunday and take one of their brewery tours. The tour was informative although we couldn't see the bottling operation that particular day. We did learn a good deal about the process and how they are making some barrel aged beers. Of course we visited the taproom and loved the Out of Mind Stout made... More

Avery has great beer. The reason I'm giving this review 4 stars and not 5 is because of a snarky remark I received from one of the bartenders when I asked if they made any gluten free beers. He replied with "we aren't concerned with that fad". This disappointed me greatly coming from a celiac standpoint.

Avery has long been one of my favorite beers, so the chance to come to the Strong Ale festival was a no-brainer for me. We visited the taproom before the main event, and tried some beers. I highly recommend anyone visiting the area to come check it out, and go on the tour!

We stopped at Avery Brewery for lunch & beers on a Friday afternoon based on trip advisor reviews & are soooo glad we did! The servers were SUPER nice and helped suggest beers based on others we liked. Our food was really good for "bar food." I had the salmon sandwich and my husband had the twin gyros, and everything... Avery Brewery is home to the best beers in the world! I should know, I've tried over 1,500 from around the globe and counting. The tour of the facility was rather generic, but pints from the demon series made it all worth while. Now if only they'd do a collaboration with brewdog...

My wife and I stopped into the Avery Brewing Company on a Sunday evening - June 2014 pretty much on a whim, and it is easily one of the finest breweries that we've ever visited. The beer... just phenomenal, and I never even get to order a pint as they had so many different varieties to taste that I spent... More
