Go early to avoid the crowd

Nice new facility with beer garden on the ground floor and restaurant upstairs. It's HUGEly popular, so time your visit accordingly. Nice new facility with beer garden on the ground floor and restaurant upstairs. It's HUGEly popular, so time your visit accordingly. We had an early dinner in the restaurant, sampled lots of beers, and everything our group of six ordered was great. Service was friendly and prompt, but not in the way. The beer garden was full of younger folks... More

Came here on a weekday afternoon and was surprised with how many people were eating and drinking. The location is a bit odd as its in a corporate center. Didn't have to wait for a table, but for 2pm on a Thursday it was crowded! Unfortunately their tours are only at 4pm on weekdays so we could not take advantage... More

Excellent food, friendly staff and a huge beer selection, this place offers the best dining value in Gunbarrel. With a choice of dining rooms; downstairs having a garage-type door for open air seating and an informal feeling, upstairs is a touch more upscale.

Went for a late dinner and were told it would be a 40 minute wait. We walked around above the brewery and drank beers while we waited. Because the wait took so long the manager said that our beer was on the house, for the night. It was such a nice gesture. The beer is delicious, and they also have... More

We visited here on a Friday evening, and it was really hopping! The wait time for a table was over an hour, so we ordered some beer at the bar. Oh my! So good! We then walked around and viewed the brewery. W e ordered several meals and all were excellent! The French onion soup was the best I have... More

I've been to the old Avery place, which had a lot of ambiance, so friends and I decided to try the new location....it has a small outside patio and an open window where people can sit and look out on the patio...the downstairs is the tasting room and upstairs, where we sat, was the main dining room. My friend got... More

The Avery Brewery just opened a large facility which includes a happening pub and dining area in the otherwise sleepy area of Gunbarrel in Boulder. The whole Gunbarrel area looks like it is up and coming and Avery sets the standard with a multitude of beers for every palate. Our server, Austin, clearly a beer aficionado, couldn't haven't been more... More

Visited Avery for the first time and then had to visit a second time. There were about 30 beers on tap that they serve in sample sizes to try. The brewery is set up for self-guided tours which is a very cool way to explore the building. The food menu has a wide variety and was decent.

We were expecting a small brewery and were quite surprised to pull up at this modern, two-story building, crowded parking and wall-to-wall patrons! Avery is a very nice place and very popular with the locals. There is a downstairs area with inside and outside dining that was really "hopping" on the beautiful afternoon that we visited. We chose to eat... More

First time visitor from out of state and I had a good idea what to expect from local friends but this place felt much more like a big commercial brew factory than a microbrew. That being said the brewpub only selections were off the charts delicious, food was great, and being able to do a little tour by yourself was... More
