I have a good friend who is a Tibetan Monk that I like to take out to dinner every once in a while. I have taken him to many different Indian, Chinese, Nepali, and Tibetan places in Denver, Colorado Springs, Boulder, and Aurora. This is his absolute favorite place of all the restaurants that I... read more

I love this small restaurant. They bring us service 1 minute before close! The food is good and cheap.

I frequent this restaurant when in town and I am after a filling, quick lunch. The consistency of the food is great...good options, good flavors, good portions. And the price is very reasonable. I recently stopped by for dinner. The evening temperature was pleasant enough to enjoy the outside courtyard. Nothing fancy but it added a level of relaxation to... More

Second time visitor and not really sure why I didn't learn from the first time. Lunch entrée to go consist of a Styrofoam plate with the entrée portion in the smallest of the three compartments, maybe four tablespoons of meat, the rest is a side, rice, bread, etc. Meat was tough, the Tibetan bread was good which was great since... My wife and I had beef shaptak, Momo samplers, and beef long noodle soup. The noodle soup was fantastic. But I can't say anything positive about the dining place. The floor and chairs were sticky and the condiment bottle tips were crusty.

I caught sight of the back of "Tibet Kitchen" when I was wandering around trying to find somewhere for a not-very-expensive dinner on a business trip. The rear was not very encouraging but "Tibetan" sounded like a worthwhile experiment so I went in the front door and ordered expectantly from an unfamiliar menu and then found a seat in the... More

Seriously, You can't go wrong. Half the entrées are vegetarian. We enjoyed the lunch special: $4.99 for one entrée, $5.99 for two. My two entrée's were: Shaptak- Beef with peppers in a spicy sauce Jhasa Shamdeh - a chicken curry. I liked the curry better, the chicken was more tender. The sauce on the beef was good and very spicy!... More
