This place is an institution. It has been in Boulder for ever, and is a classic low-key spot for locals to hit. If you're looking for exotic high-brow hot dogs, this is not your place. But if you just want a really good Chicago Style Hot Dog, from a place that is true to it's roots, this is your spot.... More

Great little place right near the High School & across the street from a great market. I ordered the Smoked German Bratwurst - the really large, spicy sausage, in a super soft bun was perfectly charbroiled & adding their Hot Dusseldorf Mustard, Sauerkraut & Grilled Onions made a wonderful lunchtime meal. The Hand Cut Fries were amazing - just the... More

Imagine finding a good Chicago dog, fabulous fries, veggie burger and Italian Beef available in uber health conscious Boulder. The owners have some sort of record for staying vital and feeding locals for decades now, and the good food continues with other offerings too. I just never made it any further than the Beef and sausage combo. A lap sandwich... More

I been coming here forever, almost always get a veggie dog, small fries and black cherry soda. It's a nice treat for myself every so often and always good. I like that they have so many vegetarian options. I found them to be the best place in boulder for a consistently good Chicago style dog. The staff is always so... More

No trip to Boulder is complete for us without stopping at Mustard's Last Stand for a Chicago hot dog. Having patronized some of the best hot dog establishments in Chicago, I can attest Mustard's Last Stand to be as close to the real deal as one can get. Fresh poppy seed bun, vienna beef, tomato, mustard, pickle, sport peppers, neon... More

We visit Boulder every year, and Mustard's Last Stand is a favorite. Actually, we always call it Colonel Mustard after the Clue game. They offer something for everyone in the hotdog category, plus burgers and vegetarian options. My only regret, as a Texan, I prefer no beans in my chili on my chili-cheese dog. Other than that, it is thumbs... More

Everything about this place was delicious but we found the hot dogs to be just a little on the small side for all of the great toppings they had. They are Chicago style hot dogs, with the yummy seeded buns and a variety of delish toppings. The french fries were also yummy but the order that comes when you make... More

Greatest dog with no 21st century foolishness...in other words this is an authentic "Chicago" dog complete with sport peppers, onions, poppy seed bun, dill pickle, et al. Vintage "Vienna beef hotdog stand" photos fill the wall by the cashier stand and you can see the cooks build your meal. Good, greasy cheeseburgers, fries and Polish sausage too. You can sit... More

(My rating reflects the fact that there are several good vegetarian offerings here. In its class, I do think it's among the very best.) On Saturday mornings our vegetarian family of four would cycle from our house along the bike path (never having to cross a street) to the Farmer's Market, followed by lunch at Mustard's. I've eaten at Mustard's... More

This is a Boulder institution. If you like hot dogs they make the tastiest ones in town. It is our special treat place. You can get so many variations on the toppings and they have incredible pickles and relish. They make their fries from scratch too and they are delicious. The staff is great. The only problem is they are... More
