Good food; great atmosphere; quintessential downtown Boulder restaurant

The food is always good; the atmosphere is always lively; the service good. A great place to eat and watch the world go by.

very busy place. my eggplant parmesan had burnt edges, and was so HOT, it took forever before it cooled down. flavor just ok, i have had much better tasting sauce, was served with a huge bowl of fusilli, with a dab of sauce on top. odd.

Fun Italian restaurant. The owner has taken pride in the staff and they are all super friendly. Expect them ALL to say goodbye as you leave:) The Italian food is terrific. My husband's favorite place in the neighborhood. He kept telling about the eggplant dish he had two weeks in a row. I finally had a chance to go on... More

Some colleague's and I stopped at Pasta Jay's recently and had a great experience. I had a dish with ravioli, manicotti, and tortellini, and it was to die for! On top of that they gave us outstanding garlic bread that was perfect for sopping up the extra sauce. Others in our party loved their food as well. It was so... More

Yum! We rolled the dice and picked a winner! Reminded me of the old Italian restaurants if my youth, Big bowl of pasta with meatballs and garlic bread, nothing fancy but presented well and delicious. Excellent service and reasonable price to boot.

We heard from our waitress at the hotel we were staying at this place was great and the reviews on the other sites concurred. At first told there was an hour wait, but we sat outside under the heaters and were served in minutes. Great drinks, delicious marinara sauce. Great way to start a trip to Boulder!

Okay, so I live about 6 blocks away on Broadway, My dad and sister walked down and put our name on the list, the staff would call when there was a table. The wait was for 15 minutes. 45 minutes later, we hadn't been called. We go back, people with 3 put their names down 20 minutes after us HAD... More

We've been going to Pasta Jay's for more than 25 years and the never disappoint. Love their marinara sauce - loaded with tomato and spices. Their tortellini is rich and satisfying. They have lots of different choices: seafood, pizza, and nightly specials. The service is prompt and friendly. Over the years this was a favorite restaurant when our children were... More

A wonderful sunny afternoon in Boulder. Could not have imagined getting an authentic Italian meal in Colorado. The white lasagne is so good, I wish I lived there so I could eat it at least once a week. The meatballs and and ravioli are as good as my mama makes. The service was also outstanding. The hostess and server were... More

. . . on Pearl Street Mall. If your not quite hungry enough walking to the restaurant, just follow your nose and the smell of baking/simmering garlic will get your taste buds going the closer you get to Pasta Jay's. Last night three of us were first time guests there and enjoyed the garlic bread (OH MY!!!) parmesan encrusted salmon... More
