Our foodie hosts took us to Zolo for a late Sunday evening dinner. We were seated outside on a gloriously nice evening. Service is great, very responsive and accommodating of special requests. We had their very tasty smoked pork ribs for an appetizer -- 3 ribs. I had the grilled lamb sirloin which was perfectly rare. My wife had the... More

Very good food. Great service. The Jalapeño Relleno were amazing as were the fish and el pastor tacos. Would definitely go back

Just a fantastic experience all the way around. Incredible flavors, creative menu, great staff. We had the Grilled Ruby Red trout, Corn Poblano tamales and the Cheso Fundido. I'd get them all again. We had a great server, Adam, who was spot on in his recomendations for everything fromt the Beer to the entrees. He also had tremendous pride in... More

Zolo is one of the early BIG RED F restaurants started by the now famous Dave Query star Chief. Great feel, good crew and very good south western cooking. Near the campus and Folsom field.

Whatever Zolo wants Zolo gets. Great ingredients, great chef, efficient and attentive wait staff in a convenient Boulder strip mall location and they pass that on to you. An enjoyable meal in a comfortable dining space with great and innovative Southwestern food including a wild boar tostada that will have you thinking out of the SW box and a traditional... More

Always delicious, food is fresh and portions are generous. I like the fusion, SW/Mex innovative choices. Even lunch is a bit pricey, but is always delicious and it is especially pleasant on their outside patio. Wait staff is friendly and efficient any of the many times I have eaten here.

We went there to have a beer, which we had at the bar. Nice, but none of the spirits were familiar to me. The beer was good, but $7 for a glass I find overprized for this place. The food they served looked good, but we didn't have anny.

We ate here twice on a recent visit to Boulder. Once as a couple and once with a large group. Both times we found the restaurant to be pleasant (busy but not so noisy that we couldn't carry on a conversation) , the staff accommodating (helpful, efficient ant not overbearing) and the food very good. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend... More

I lived in Boulder for 10 years and ate at Zolo many times. On a recent trip to Boulder we again ate there and again had a wonderful meal... Food is really good, creative, ample portions and reasonably priced. I highly recommend it... The one caveat? If you get guac with chips (not cheap at $8), and the waitress says... More
