Interesting, delicious food

Always delicious, food is fresh and portions are generous. I like the fusion, SW/Mex innovative choices. Even lunch is a bit pricey, but is always delicious and it is especially pleasant on their outside patio. Wait staff is friendly and efficient any of the many times I have eaten here.

We went there to have a beer, which we had at the bar. Nice, but none of the spirits were familiar to me. The beer was good, but $7 for a glass I find overprized for this place. The food they served looked good, but we didn't have anny.

We ate here twice on a recent visit to Boulder. Once as a couple and once with a large group. Both times we found the restaurant to be pleasant (busy but not so noisy that we couldn't carry on a conversation) , the staff accommodating (helpful, efficient ant not overbearing) and the food very good. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend... More

I lived in Boulder for 10 years and ate at Zolo many times. On a recent trip to Boulder we again ate there and again had a wonderful meal... Food is really good, creative, ample portions and reasonably priced. I highly recommend it... The one caveat? If you get guac with chips (not cheap at $8), and the waitress says... More

We stopped by for lunch and had a great meal. We asked what was the waiter walking by with and it was blue corn oysters. Right after we were seated the manager sent us each one to try. They were excellent, if fact we had to order it as an appetizer. Great service and wonderful food. Highly recommend.

I wasn't expecting too much when I pulled up. Plunked in a strip mall across from Petco and Safeway, it looked like a typical suburban concept restaurant. I was pleasantly surprised. I had a braised lamb shank with braised collard greens. The lamb was prepared well, though the sauce was a bit much - it had a little heat, but... More

The food is great, service good, and for that reason you almost have to make a reservation or sit and wait for a while. In good weather, outside seating. Excellent margaritas. Noisy inside so if you want to talk, pick the covered patio or outside seating.

The place is really about average. It is not bad, but we definitely had mixed feelings overall so we are not sure what all of the stars are about. We came right before the end of happy hour so we had a mix of happy hour and dinner menu items. Happy Hour: We had chips and salsa, guac, wings, and a jalepeno... More

Loved this place. Service is just right, good margaritas, tasty entrees (duck tacos, anyone.). Would go again any time.

We went to Zolo Grill Thursday night. It was very busy, but we were seated quickly. The service was fast and attentive. Our waitress wasted no time getting our order in. The guacamole and salsa were delicious. We shared a chicken enchilada and it was amazing. I liked the slightly crisped edges and I could tell it was just cooked... More
