Good vegan choices

Good choice for vegan food, though menu is not extensive and the flavors did not pop. A very solid choice for vegan eaters.

Four of us ate dinner here on a Summer Sat. night. The place was very busy. The outdoor patio is very nice. Excellent service, fair prices. The downside is that Zolo's attempts to serve Mexican & Latino food, but falls a bit short. Compared to real Mexican places (Efrain's, 3 Margaritas), Zolo's is about half as good. We found the... We recently had lunch on Zolo's inviting patio and found the setting beautiful. The menu is inventive but the execution in the kitchen needs some work. I had the duck confit taco. The potatoes were excellent but the meat was very dry. The two tacos were so overstuffed that it was virtually impossible to eat them as hand food. My... More

Excellent imaginative cocktails and food. Not typical "mexican" fare. I sat at the bar and enjoyed a quiet late night snack and outstanding craft cocktail.

Zolo Grill serves good food. I keep searching for outstanding Mexican, and this doesn't meet that standard for me. Still, it is good, and I will go back. The house made chips are excellent, as is the standard salsa. At my table, we would have liked to have had twice as much salsa, but we didn't want to order another... More

Happened on to Zolo and was very pleasantly surprised. It's strip mall location made me think it would be just ok but I was wrong about that. Definitely high quality. We had the smoked chicken salad with a fantastic dressing and the al Pastor tacos (chile braised pork) that was super flavorful. The wait staff was friendly and efficient. Outdoor... More

They charge $4 for chips ans salsa and $3 for salsa. I like to smother my food in salsa, but I wasn't about to pay an additional $3. I got a side of hot sauce that was more sweet than spicy. I had the fish tacos and my husband had the pork tacos. The pork tacos were greasy. The fish... More

Nice flavors, spice if you want it, and overall eating experience. Portions are large (lunch), but certainly doable if you are up to it. Open atmosphere, innovative ingredients in dishes.

Found Zolo by accident but we were extremely happy with the entire experience. They have a very diverse menu, including a wonderful Chili Salad. Our server, Shanelle, could not have been more friendly or helpful. I strongly recommend Zolo if you are in the area and want to try something special.

This is a centrally located, informal restaurant. The menu is replete with interesting dishes including sandwiches, salads and more substantial dishes. The food is very good and the service is obliging and very pleasant. We saw people of all varieties including students, old folks, groups of women friends. Prices are moderate.
