Surprising

Had a great mexican meal at Zolo. Started with the Zolorita and had the special for the day. The service was very attentive, the drinks great and the food is very, very good. We liked the atmosphere and will return.

This restaurant has consistently had really good food and is a fun atmosphere - fast service and excellent drinks - moderate prices. We had both fish tacos and duck tacos - both would be ordered upon the next visit.

Great Margaritas and southwestern style sliders at fantastic happy hour prices. We had a group of 12 and the wait staff were fantastic. The food came out together and all of us were very pleased with our meals. The lamb shank and enchiladas got the highest marks. Everything they served has their own southwest touch to it. A bustling place... More

This is just 3 minutes walk from my place. But I just went here once. Not sure why... The margaritas you get during happy hour are really a deal. The food is good as well but they lack variation.

We stopped in here twice during happy hour while in Boulder. Excellent margaritas and very yummy small plates! We loved the squash tamales and chili rellenos. Both of the servers we had were very attentive and friendly. There is ample seating available and the ambiance of the restaurant is very nice. I also recommend the churros for dessert-- Yum! This... About the only thing one could say that Zolo Grill has going against it is its location - i.e. not on Pearl Street. We were a party of 5 locals looking for a somewhat last minute quality restaurant experience on a Saturday night. Not sure if the Boulder Film Fest caused our problems, but everything was jammed. All of our... More

We visit Boulder, CO twice a year at least. It's our favorite vacation town. We are also foodies, and used to frequent Rio Grande regularly for Mexican food fix. But the past few years their quality was sub par, and so I looked up other Mexican restaurants, and found Zolo tex-mex, which had good reviews. We ate there a few... More

I went here on the off-chance as I was staying in the nearby Marriott. It was busy, with a lively vibe. As I was on business and eating alone I think it's the sort of place that works better for groups. I don't generally have great expecations from anything vaguely tex-mex, but was pleasantly surprised. The food was fresh and... More

A friendly place that does not have your typical South Western fare. The fresh ingredients are used in imaginative ways and if you are a foodie you will enjoy Zolo Grill.

This was a birthday celebration for 6 women. We all ordered the ahi tuna which was perfectly prepared. The sides were good; but didn't stand out for me. Our waiter was delightful and engaging and very attentive. I would go back in a heartbeat !
