Went to this place while I was waiting for my car to be repaired. Didn't expect much, but food was excellent. Had the best steak salad I've ever had, although the steak was a little tough - think I'll order it without the meat next time. Iced tea was brewed - I hate when they give you the instant stuff.... the sandwich was alright tasting . nothing to fancy , if none of the restaurants in the shopping complex are open then this is a very good last resort instead of driving around .

What I would consider your local yocal bar. A lot of people enjoy the place and the food is typical bar food. I enjoy the French dip.

There aren't many places to eat in South Boulder but this is my favorite. Food is good, service is good. It can get loud when full. I want to try their Sunday brunch which is supposed to be good.

We had five in our party and the booths were comfortable, the drinks cheap (It must have been an extended happy hour because we were there late on a Saturday) The food is comfort food. I had a burrito so packed with goodies that I saved half for lunch the next day. The ambiance is like a bar but we... More

We went for dinner and ordered a fish & chips and a salmon dinner. They had corned beef and cabbage but had run out for the night (it's a Wednesday special). The fish & chips was a huge portion, but the beer batter tasted weird and it seemed like they had left the fish in the fryer a bit too... More

Good place for late night munchies. Average food. Service was good. Menu had enough options for everyone. They were great about doing separate bills with our large group.

Let me start by sharing the good things about this place: * It is affordable * The host is good at his job * They have booths and free parking * They have a normal and unpretentious menu * The woman who came out from the kitchen (not our server) and delivered our food was amazingly kind and provided wonderful... We thoroughly enjoyed our meal here. One gripe I would have would be the lack of "Murphys Stout". The portions were very adequate and nicely presented, the service was friendly and efficient. Would recommend.

So Murphy's is not exactly HIGH cuisine, but it offers delicious comfort food with food options that can be a bit beyond the standard of "comfort". The environment is very "Boulder", with a nice locked piano, a car-shaped bench, and funny posters and quotes sprawled everywhere. The menu options are diverse, and the menu is a bit big. They have... More
