Nice Lunch

Had lunch there today. Typical lunch fare, I had the Taos chicken sandwich and fries. Sandwich was really tasty; chicken, cheese, avocado. Good local beer selection (Avery, Upslope, New Belgium). Service was very attentive. Will be back for another lunch.

Visited Murphys's for a birthday celebration. Food was good and they have a good selection of local craft beers from Avery, Upslope, New Belgium, Lefthand and more. Dinner specials were plenty and even on a Sunday, they had happy hour. Service was a bit slow, but not bad. They did pick up after 6. Lots of seats at the bar... More

Murphy's has been in the same location in the Willow Springs shopping center for many years. While I don't go there regularly, I seem to end up there once in a while. The food has always been acceptable, but certainly not memorable. The menu seems to have gotten a little more ambitiously upscale over the years, but the execution of... More

We went here for the fish and chips, but discovered so many other tempting options. They have you covered no matter what type of diet you are sticking to. Vegan, Palio, or like me, the everything looks good diet. What stands out even more than the great food is the service. We had a an equipment issue at the table,... More

Our beers were served with a greater than 2" head of foam. When the beer settled I asked the bartender to fill the glasses up as I wanted to buy a full glass of beer, not one 1/3 empty. She scowled, took the beers, put a barely noticeable dash in, and returned the still 1/3 empty glasses to us with... More

I had been here before and had a bad dinner experience on a Sunday. Came for happy hour during the week, place was not busy. Stood and waited for host who finally greeted me and did a good job. Waitress was sloppily dressed and very unhappy. Ordered some food and drink. Drink came and after 20 minutes asked about food... More

This a long-time Boulder standby. It serves basic good food. There is even a section on the menu labeled "Comfort Plates". Don't go expecting a gourmet meal. You can expect good food, including a couple of daily specials. I have a problem with the fact that they have the same menu for lunch and dinner - and the same prices.... More

Stopped here for lunch on a recent Saturday with three companions. The pub is located in a strip mall, there is plenty of parking around it. The location is not very promising at first glance but the restaurant is ok inside and has a great patio in the back if you want to be outside and get away from the... More

We eat a few times a year at the Southside Murphy's. It is convenient and the food is decent. The place is always busy, which is a good sign. The service can be very good or just plain invisible. Nice ambiance and a nice patio. The only reason for 3 stars is that it is a bit overpriced for what... More

Went to this place while I was waiting for my car to be repaired. Didn't expect much, but food was excellent. Had the best steak salad I've ever had, although the steak was a little tough - think I'll order it without the meat next time. Iced tea was brewed - I hate when they give you the instant stuff....
