Feels (and tastes) like Thailand: the chef, a woman of considerable charisma, runs the kitchen like a Thai military operation, with excellent results. Clearly they're making a big effort to incorporate fresh local produce -- of which there is, in summer at least, an abundance -- into the traditional flavors of Thailand. The beef salad was a good, and inventive,... More

We have eaten here before but, I hadn't written a review. While the college kids from the university vote this place into the top Thai place, it lacks the flavor profiles we experienced when in Thailand. On this last trip, the curry was flat and a little watery, while my wife's Chicken pad Thai was to tomato like in flavor.... More

I was visiting a friend in Boulder and she raved about Khow Thai. I wasn't very impressed. The food was okay, that's all. When I have Thai I look for fresh and distinct flavors. Didn't find that at Khow.

My wife and I have visited Khow Thai many times, and it is one of our favorite places to eat in Boulder. They used to have a store in Broomfield which is where we were first introduced to the restaurant. The Broomfield location is no longer there, replaced by a mediocre Indian food restaurant so we now have to travel... More

I ducked into this restaurant merely by passing it in my Jeep - figured I would give it a shot. I wasn't dissapointed! The service is amazingly friendly and my food was delicious and served piping hot. With tip, my meal was $11 and I had leftovers to take home - you can hardly beat this value! One suggested improvement... More

There are few places that don't disappoint and Know Thai is one of them. I have been going there for gluten-free Thai food since 2008 and it is one of the best. The servers are knowledgeable and friendly. The food is always great, large portions, reasonably priced and laid-back atmosphere. If you are looking for great Thai in Boulder, CO,... More

The few times I've been there, everything tasted like peanut butter. The Thai graduate students in town (a very closeknit group) say they don't recognize the flavors at all and wonder if it's all geared to American tastes. I've never understood how it could be Best in Boulder.

The service here was confused at best. When the first main course was served, it was spilled as the bowl was quite full. The server mentioned this always happened. The second main dish ordered came well after the first - I wondered if it had been forgotten. The peanut sauce was overly sweet. All in all, not the best Thai... More

Great food and selection of different dishes to choose from. I am vegetarian and their menu is accommodating. If you love HOT food as I do, I still recommend getting it American hot and ask for Thai chillis on the side. I got the "Thai hot" and WOW, however very delicious!
