We ate breakfast here and the food was very good. The potatoes were real potatoes, not hash browns, the bacon was on the thicker side and I could tell the rye toast was homemade and delicious. I would definitely eat here again. My reason for 4 stars, is that I am from the east coast, and you need to leave... More

We have lunched here 3 times in last six months. Each time we got a crappy table right by the kitchen. Each time had to beg the waitstaff to work our table. Up to 10-15 minutes before anyone attended to us. The waitstaff was also pretty indifferent (overworked?). The food was below average. Bacon was undercooked & greasy. Bread was not... More

We had a late breakfast here this morning. Very good food, especially the Belgian waffles, which were served with fruit and whipped cream. Good coffee and chai tea. Nice friendly service and no wait to be seated. It's a breakfast place so nothing fancy, but comfortable enough. Well worth a visit.

I go to the Walnut Cafe when I do not have time to wait around. I know that I am going to get nutritious well prepared food and good service. There are Coffee drinks and fruit breads that I like , but there are not any potatoes . Some people like that and I prefer it to badly prepared potatoes... More

My husband and I ate here a few days ago. I really enjoyed my breakfast, but he thought it was just so so. Really this is because this is mostly a "breakfast place" with some sandwiches thrown in, and he had the Philly sandwich, I had the breakfast. Prices were reasonable. Go for breakfast and you will enjoy it.

We had a vegan, gluten-free and regular diner eating at this restaurant. They had a lot of choices for all of us. The food was fresh and delicious. It also arrived very quickly. The wait staff was very friendly

Breakfast is my favorite meal of the day and I wasn't disappointed with the Walnut Cafe. The service was great, the atmosphere was nice, and the food was outstanding. I love eggs benedict and decided to go with their Big Dill Eggs. It was a nice adaptation on the benedict and I'd definitely order it again! Also, the chocolate chai... More

Took about 15-20 min to get a server's attention and some waters…omelette was great but the potatoes were burned and clearly the end of the batch. Went to pay and didn't even get a thank you or goodbye. I love their sister restaurant, the south side cafe, off of table mesa in Boulder, same menu but much better food, service... More

We went for a late breakfast at about noon after yoga. Lots of people waiting but it was a beautiful sunny day with temperature in the mid 60's so the 15 minutes passed quickly. We sat outside and my wife and I had the special of the day scrambled eggs with chorizo and cheese with avocado sauce and breakfast potatoes.... More

I visit the Walnut Cafe, or its sibling the Southside Walnut Cafe (at the Table Mesa Shopping Center), about once a month. Almost always busy, both the service and the food are good. One of my favorite dishes is a simple two eggs over easy with sides of fruit and blueberry cornbread. The coffee is just so-so, but refilled frequently.... More
