Boulder Latte and Big Dill Eggs

Nice local breakfast & lunch spot. Large menu, many options, generous portions. the Boulder Latte was really good (vanilla and cinnamon), as were the Big Dill eggs and blueberry corn bread. I went with friends and we all enjoyed our meals. Service was friendly, relaxed, effective. I... read more

One of the best breakfast places in Boulder that is very popular with local residents and a unique place for visitors to experience! Indoor and outdoor seating, very good food, excellent coffee and some of the best pies in town! The servers are friendly and attentive and if you visit on a Sunday morning you may be welcomed by Dana... More

The portions are large, that's the main good thing. Also it is regular ' 'Merican comfort food, and the outside sitting area is very pleasant. Those things being said, the inside is always crowded and hectic, the food is only ok, and the service too.

Spent Easter in Boulder to visit our daughter. After church at Flatirons Church (overwhelmingly awesome), we had brunch at The Walnut Cafe. They have 3 locations and we went to the one on Walnut Street. Awesome timing, no wait for a table. The place was bright, cheery and full of friendly help. The specialty coffees and Chai Tea were wonderful.... More

Each order is a large helping. The Mocha Grande it a good start. I had the Boulder Scramble and the tofu (substituted) for the eggs...you could not tell the difference. It is load and crowded but the service is great and you are in and out. A variety for vegans and vegetarians.

We had a late breakfast at the Walnut Cafe. My wife and son had the breakfast burrito, I had eggs. Both dishes were good; the burritos were large and filling. Knowing that the restaurant is known for its pie I decided to try a slice of coconut cream. It was very disappointing. The crust was hard and not flaky and... More

Love eating at the Walnut Cafe (and it's sister, the SouthSide Walnut Cafe). Food is always great, and you should at least consider dessert after your breakfast- that's how amazing the pies are at the Walnut. Notable espresso bar, as well. They don't even look at you twice if you show up after a morning bike ride in your spandex.... More

Dropped in with friends yesterday for brunch. While the food came from the kitchen quickly, mine was cold. The first bite was cold. I don't really care for cold eggs and toast.

The waitress was so nice & helpful. She told us what some of the yummiest, most popular items were on the menu. And she was right! Outdoor seating was nice, even a blanket on your chair for chilly days.

I always look forward to eating here when I come to Boulder. The food is always great, hot, and reasonably priced. Our waitress has always been friendly, knowledgable, and nice. Two of us got omlets and we both really liked them. I like that you get two sides with the meal, and they have many choices. Their omlets are the... More
