Nice atmosphere & comfy booths

4 for dinner on Saturday night, not to busy. Service was good, nice wine selection reasonably priced. I hear they do a great happy hour. One steak was overcooked and they handled it promptly and discounted the bill. Nice atmosphere, not to loud like so many other places where the tables are so... read more

Went last night. It was disappointing. Two of us ordered the bone-in ribeye for $34.95. We each ordered them med-rare and they arrived med-well at least. If they want to be a steak house....cook them right. They would have been sent back to the kitchen any other time but I was with my nephew and his girlfriend and let it... More

We dined here while in Boulder for business. Hungry for a good steak, we tried the Chophouse and were not disappointed. I ordered the Prime Rib and my Husband the NY Strip. Both were cooked as ordered and melt in the mouth fantastic. The corn bread was a great addition to the meal. The portions were hearty and the atmosphere... More

We had good meals here in past years, buy something has changed. We ate dinner here on a Saturday in June. The place was busy & our service was terrible. The waitress disappeared for long periods. We each had steak. My filet was mediocre & overcooked. The baked potato was good. Prices are very high for the mediocre quality. Will... More

Nice steakhouse. Good atmosphere, service was good but the easier hovered a bit too much. I am certain he forgot our salad order too since they came right before the entree. Crab cake was good but expensive ($14.00 for one cake). I had the NY Steak and it was one of the best steaks I have ever had. My son... More

I had a business dinner there and we were not disappointed. There was a great selection on the menu and several daily specials. The wine list was very good as well. Service was okay. The onion rings are a "must try" and the cornbread that comes with the meal was fantastic.

We were going to meet friends for happy hour and they heard that the Boulder Chophouse had a good one. So we agreed to meet there at 4:00 on Saturday when they open. We went there several years ago for happy hour and I was not impressed so I thought maybe they had improved. When we got there about 5... More

We met my sister and husband for dinner and I was pleasantly surprised. I got the bone in ribeye. Perfectly done. Waiter was very attentive. I would totally recommend!

We were in the mood for meat and decided to try this place. Shared a divine porterhouse steak cooked to perfection and also shared their wedge salad, baked potato and an order of garlic infused spinach. Their bread is some sort of corn bread mixed with chile and it was sensational. Good service added to the enjoyment of the meal.

Probably the best place for steaks. We tried angus steaks, sirloin steaks and fillet steaks. They were all great. The service was excellent, all with humor and smiles. Potatoes and vegetables perfectly cooked... I wish I could eat more!! Everything was just right.. and the place quite beautiful, in the center of the town!
