Stopped in the other night, without a reservation, while Christmas shopping. We were seated quickly in the bar area. The place was packed, lots of parties, yet service was quick and friendly. While waiting for apps we were served jalapeno cornbread which was absolutely awesome. For apps, I had the onion rings and the wife had the onion soup. The... More

It was 13 degrees Fahrenheit outside and snowing, and we were seeking a warm, welcoming environ for a business meal and meeting. This fitted the bill well. The staff were a stand-out of the evening - attentive, friendly and knowledgeable about the food. We chose to sit in the bar area, overlooking the snow covered street. I had the salmon... More

i have to say the prime rib was a special piece of meat! The sweet potato fries were bland. The room was so cold that the food got cold very fast so get it to go! Yes there was a cold snap but turn the heat on, really!

We enjoyed every thing and the bartender was extremely helpful with wine selection. All the staff very efficient in their jobs. Location is right downtown.

Food was just ok. Steak not too much flavor, fish tasted fishy. Kids liked the burgers. House wine was bad. Wedge salad not great either.

Nothing we ate, from the wedge salads to the steaks were anything more than average. We will not return.

We have been to Boulder many times and for some reason we have never dined at the Boulder Chophouse before, what a mistake that was! Everything was outstanding! Our waitress was warm, friendly, and completely on top of our every need. Her recommendations for what to eat were spot-on. Do not miss the crab cakes, they were stuffed with tons... More

The Chophouse over-promises on the food, and didn't deliver for our first visit in several years. We did not go back.

My wife and I stopped into the Chophouse hungry after a day of hiking Indian Peaks Wilderness. I ordered the 16 oz NY strip steak medium, and my wife ordered the citrus salmon. The drinks were reasonable, and the waiters were there for every imaginable need. My steak was delicious, and my wife loved her salmon. It may have been... More

We stopped in after a movie for an early dinner. We had searched Trip Advisor and thought this would be a good option for us on Monday night in Boulder. Though they were out of tuna, the crab cakes were tasty option - mostly crab with very little filler. The pecan rice pilaf was lovely. My dining companion enjoyed spicy,... More
