The Kitchen is always a delight. The farm to table movement was embraced here a long time before others jumped on the bandwagon. The food is always delicious and beautifully presented. The drink menu is delightful. The servers are generally well informed and personable. The only quibble is the small space in the Boulder location. The Kitchen is always worth... More

I have an old pal who loves this place, I know not why. When he visits Boulder, we eat there to humor him, and as I leave, my wallet empty and my stomach growling, I think again: why couldn't he have fixated on Mustard's Last Stand? I can usually get by at these pretentious foodie joints by ordering soup and... More

great food and beer. Atmosphere was superb. Half hour wait but there are plenty of bars to keep yourself busy during that time. Would revisit.

My wife and I have dined at The Kitchen many times over the years, but last night was the best. We started with an order of fries, they were outstanding. Piping hot, large scale hand cut fries with the perfect amount of salt. We were off to a great start. For second course I had tomato soup and my wife... More

Wow, phenomenal food, wine and service all wrapped up in a cozy package. This is a place you shouldn't miss. Business travelers traveling solo, the bar serves the tasting menu.

Quality, local food with a great atmosphere. We had a last minute addition to our rez and they accommodated us without a problem. The waiter was super friendly and made great recommendations. I ordered the mussels which aren't a part of the menu, but they indulged me anyway. My husband got the scallops and partially because they tell you the... More

Had the Smoked Trout, the Pasta, the Scallops. The chef was playing around and turned out a Cauliflower 4 ways appetizer. Everything but the trout was bangon 5 star food, and where do you get sunchokes in March to puree? (God, the chips were good....) BIG selection of craft beers, good wines by the glass, bar drinks. Waiters are very... More

I have eaten breakfast, lunch and dinner at this place (not on the same day!). It is one of my favourite places in Boulder. Food is fresh, good variety. Great selection of beers and wine. Service is wonderful and friendly.
