I don't know if it is always like this, but the older Chinese waitress was not very nice, and was arguing with a customer on the phone right in front of all the guests. Food was fine, but nothing spectacular. I'm sure there are better Chinese restaurants in Boulder.

Absolutely horrible. The food is greasy and the soup was oily. The chef's idea of seasoning is to add salt, a lot of it so that everything tastes the same. All of the food is incredibly overpriced and the owner/manager has a terrible attitude. She lectured us on the proper amount to tip on a lunch buffet. Wow, she wouldn't... More

Unfortunately, the quality of the food and service has gone down from past years. I've been eating here for many years when I visit Boulder as I have family close by. This Thanksgiving and Christmas vacations we ate here multiple times. In past years, there was always a old Chinese lady sitting by the kitchen door. She used to look... More

....we were told we could not sit at the table we wanted because the hostess had cleaned another one closer to the kitchen. bad business, really bad business. The customer should have his/her choice of table in a small restaurant as this. And what an insult telling a customer "you cannot sit here!" The restaurant was 1/3 full. Are the... More

And good/excellent food to boot! Ordered a delivery to our hotel because it was snowing outside. They warned us they were busy and it would take some time, but no problem. Sure enough, about an hour later, a cheerful young man showed up with hot, tasty dinner!

We like Lee Yuan because their food is good, the service is quick and it's a small, quiet place. I order the Kung Pao vegetables. It's not on the menu, but they make it for me anyway.

I love the location, atmosphere, and price of this restaurant. It is not the best Chinese option of Boulder, but it is not bad. The food is the best mediocre food you'll have, but there are some good options, like the scallion pancakes, and the egg drop soup. They do not do well when large crowds are there, but usually... Just an average Chinese restaurant you'd expect to find in a strip mall pretty much anywhere. I liked they also had Thai and Vietnamese items, as well as brown rice, as options. I had Pine Nut Chicken, which was tasty...not spectacular, a little greasy. There are much better options in Boulder.

Delivery time was 1 hour 45 min.!!! It was my boyfriend and my 2 year anniversary and we always order from Lee Yuan. After an hour and a half I called and they told me that the cook in the kitchen was "old" and that's why it was taking so long. My problem? No. We had also ordered online and... More

This is a little family-operated Chinese restaurant in a shopping center. It has been in the same location for decades. My experience is that the food is consistently good and well-prepared. But I must admit, I don't go to a place like this for fancy dishes with shrimp and lobster sauce -- I go for their basic lunch specials, starting... More
