As a restaurant this would merit 3-4 stars. As a brewpub. .. not so much. Watery, bland and soulless beers. It's like they know how, but are afraid of failure. Get some therapy for the ACOA issues and reformulate the recipes.

I traveled to boulder frequently on business for about 15 years, and this was one of the first places I ate. So, with our daughter living in Denver for the summer, when we took a day trip to Boulder, this is where we went for lunch (and to watch a World Cup Soccer Game)! As the name implies there are... Come here every month or so for a running group. This is a regular bar but nothing special. I think they are trying to revamp the menu so perhaps it will improve. Don't avoid it but don't make a special trip there is better.

I have eaten at the Walnut Brewery on many occasions when I previously lived in the Boulder area, I look forward to eating there when I return to the area on my annual visits. The service has always been warm and friendly. The menu offers what I would consider an upscale Brewpub variety of delicious foods. I have always been... More

Walnut Brewery is a nice Boulder brew pub. The beers are good, the food is tasty and service with a smile. Lots of seating and easy parking across the street.

Near Pearl, this place was packed during the Avalanche finals game. I was told by other patrons at the bar, this was the original, the classic, the "go to" Boulder brew pub and still an old favorite of many. I tried the Old Elk Brown on cask. Chosen randomly - turns out it won the 2010 Gold Medal & 2008... More

I had a bite to eat at the bar with an IPA. This was my first visit and I was pleasantly surprised with the quality of the club sandwich. It tasted fresh and it had a chipotle mayonnaise with a nice kick. The bartender did not seem knowledgeable but she was very friendly and the service was good.

Glad we went early! Guessing we got here around 4-5 and by the time we got our food it was packed. It was definitely the place to be on a weekend night. Service was good, with some minor flaws. Food was good. I only liked 2/3 beers out of my flight but thats just me. Rustic building, but nothing crazy.

This was probably our favorite brewpub out of several we tried in Boulder. The atmosphere was superior with less noise and cool decor. Beers were very good and menu was extensive and created. Parking was probably the only slight inconvenience, but it was to be expected.
