Decent Burgers and service

I went back to The Walnut Brewery to try the burger I missed out on my last visit. I wanted the 2am burger, which is a burger with hashbrowns , a patty, then bacon, cheese, and an egg on top. I ordered mine with fries and a side of green chili also. A darn good burger for sure. Service was... read more

My family of 5 ate here a couple of nights ago. Overall very pleased. Fish tacos with salmon were outstanding. Beer sampler was good, but the best beers were outside the strictly-defined sampler. Never been somewhere where IPA was not part of the sampler. They have won awards for their brown, but the double IPA was the best beer. Good... More

Had a nice dinner at the Walnut Brewery, with my favorite, their Bison Burger. I've been stopping for lunch/dinner at the Walnut Brewery for years and years. I'm not from Boulder, and it seems like my standard goto is Walnut. Part of it is their beer, and part of it is their Bison burger. together it keeps me from trying... More

The beer was amazing and I see why it's won awards. Something for everyone on tap. We had the seared bison flank steak salad and it was off the charts! We will be going back and can't wait to do it again!

We were out for an early supper and made happy hour. Great prices on adult beverages. My husband had sirloin tips & I had chicken fried chicken with mashed potatoes and waffles. It was very good.

Before they were bought by rock bottom or whatever is called, they were much better. Burgers used to be very good, now they are about average. Beer is good too.

Visited with some friends for some beers. Overall, the beer was solid, but not outstanding. We liked the Stout and brown quite a bit; the ipa...not so much. Really liked the appetizers. The chips with green Chile and cheese were really good, but the chorizo pretzels with quest was amazing.

Service was great. wait staff was fun and friendly. Food and beer were great. We had lots of room on a Monday night in June. I really liked the historical building and the layout of the restaurant.

We have been going to the Walnut Brewery since 1995. It is a reliable brewery with great food. When we are in Boulder, it is a must to go to the Walnut!

The Walnut Brewery has been around since the dawn of brewpubs as we know them today - on the one hand, it takes a lot of effort to stay in Boulder as a restaurant, i.e., if you aren't good, you don't last long - the flip side is that while staying power is important, it is not the end all,...
