For a craft brewery, this is really just so-so. So if beer is your thing, skip this micro. Food is pub food, overly salted and not at all creative. But it's still OK if you manage your expectations.

It would not have mattered if this place had the greatest food in the universe. I was long since dead from thirst and starvation before a waitress even approached our table. I have never waited so long for a meal- 1 hour and 15 minutes after we ordered. When she finally did arrive with our food on a tray, she... More

Visited this place and tried there Red Dog sled, this beer had a special taste but was good after all. Also tried the pale-ale and was a little bit hoppy.Weather was good so we could sit on the terrace and relax. The restaurant itself is very nice and you can see the brewery at the back.

We went on a thurs. And it was busy. We were seated quickly. Our food was very good and the beer was delicious. This is a casual fun place.

Some of the meals for average, some better than average, but nothing exceptional. There was a time that this place had the best salmon fish and chips. Then they went downhill, and have since rebounded slightly. The bar and beer are fine, but they have a little work to get back to the exceptional food they once mastered. If your... More

I went with a large group (~20) for food and drinks on a Thursday night (wasn't too crowded). The beer was good, but if the server had frequented us more, he would have got a few more beers out of me. I order the bison burger and it was awful. Undoubtedly, it is a challenge to serve 20 people simultaneously,... More

This is a nice spot to drop into for a beer and snacks, but you can do much better for the food in Boulder. The food was not too bad, but just average, while no one dish was poor, nothing our group had would get us too excited. A wide selection of good beer raised the experience a lot. The... More

We went for dinner to the Walnut Brewery. There were 8 of us. The place was not that busy on a Thursday night. The food was good. My mom had the cod fish and chips and loved them but couldn't eat them all. I had the Classic Mac 'N Chicken, it was really good with a slight after spice to... More

Love the atmosphere of the place as one feels transported back to the industrial revolution with iron beams crisscrossing the interior. Great beer selection and good food and service to match. A bit pricey but that is common with downtown establishments.

As a restaurant this would merit 3-4 stars. As a brewpub. .. not so much. Watery, bland and soulless beers. It's like they know how, but are afraid of failure. Get some therapy for the ACOA issues and reformulate the recipes.
