I am sure I am biased - I have been going to Ras Kassa's for about 20 years. The thing is, I keep going back because the food is so good. There is a great Vegetarian/Vegan menu - the spicy red lentils are my favorite. In short - I hope I am still eating there in another 20 years. It... more
The food was very good but at $15, I won't be going back. I felt the seating outside by Boulder Creek was nice but the creek was too loud for me to enjoy the setting. more
I love ethiopian food. I am constantly trying to find the best restaurant to become a regular at. I wish I lived in Boulder because I would come to this restaurant ALL THE TIME!!!! The food is excellent-well prepared, plenty of injera to finish your meal, good wine, huge portions. I did notice it is a bit pricey, about $5... more
We have been going to Ras Kassa's for over ten years and we have always been thrilled with the food. Tsehay always makes her guests happy. African comfort food. Be prepared to eat with your hands -- no silverware at dinner. The lunch buffet is a treat -- and if you really need a fork, you can have one. more
This place is probably one of the best Ethiopian places I've been to - and believe me I've been to a few across the country. The food is wonderful and the atmosphere is fun. A Boulder gem. more
Interesting food. Not something I'd frequent, but worth a visit. I went for lunch. more
I'm prejudiced against the bread that all Ethiopian places serve to scoop your food up with, because it always expands in my stomach and makes me sick. But if you use it sparingly, the stew-like dishes they serve are tasty, unique, and great fun to share with a large group of friends. Their fresh fruit juices make a perfect complement. more
