Fun place, good food

Like this place. Good location though parking can be challenging. Also like the atmosphere. Service was good as was food. Ate here with local friend who is a bit of a Mexican food junkie and she says this is best place in area for Mexican food.

Busy, fun local spot. Cavernous inside with great rooftop dining area. The beef is grass-fed. The steak fajitas are out of this world. The chips are made from non-GMO corn and are also very tasty. I highly recommend.

Stopped for lunch after a hike near the flat irons. Sat on top on a beautiful day. Service was great and food was very good.

Stopped in for lunch after a hike. Lots of options. Portion sizes are generous. The burritos are loaded with meat and the salas quesadilla combo options are great...large salad! Margaritas are fantastic.

Right in the Boulder Mall, always great Margs, tap beer, and food with a flare. Maybe a little more pricey than some of the lesser places, but the atmosphere, staff and taste is well worth it. It gets busy after 530 so call ahead or plan for an incredible Marg at the bar while you wait.

This seems like quite a hotspot for a wide range of reasons. There's plenty of room which brings in quite a lot of people. The food and drinks were well done and pleasing, and the atmosphere was casual yet fun.

I have lived in Boulder for 8 years heard a lot about the Rio for cocktails but went there last night for dinner. Not what I expected at all. Very small menu so I expected it to be good. Well it took 10 mins to get a water another 20 mins for a beer. The food we just OK mine... More

We had hoped to eat in the rooftop but it was raining. The inside atmosphere was lively and device was good. We had four in our group and all of us were happy with our food and drinks. I would eat here again.

There isn't a better way to spend lunch than on the roof of the Rio, sipping on some margs. The fountain seems to spit at you if you are close to it, but it does help beat the heat, along with the misters.

We enjoyed the food there and the fact that they made a point of seating us away from large noisy groups of younger people but unfortunately our waitress took our drink orders and forgot to come back. We had to ask another staff member to find her for us and she never explained or apologized even though we knew she... More
