...we have been going to the Cork since the day they opened many, many years ago. As Boulder 'natives', we have never been disappointed with the meals or the service. Never. We are personally very good cooks, so the quality of the cooking is very important to us. For a restaurant to maintain such fine standards for so many years... More

We were out here on vacation and wanted a good steak. We read the reviews on Boulder Cork and thought it sounded good. We also liked the fact that we could wear casual and not be turned away at the door. The staff here is excellent. Energetic, articulate, and pleasant. They know their stuff. My wife and I ordered the... More

The Cork has been a Boulder institution since my grad student days when it was The Cork and Cleaver. While somewhat of a special occasion venue at that time it seemed to stagnate a bit and not change with the trend towards more contemporary cuisine in the 1990s and beyond. Sort of became an old person's restaurant. However, I've rediscovered... More

Pricey but an overall great dining experience. The location and building feels like "old" country, quite charming.

We had dinner here 2 times. The food, service and ambiance are excellent. From a previous tripadvisor's review, I knew the roast beef and trout would be good choices. For our first visit my husband had the roast beef end cut and it was the best - so lean, tender and with great flavor. My entree was the best trout... More

I normally would not write a review so soon after visiting a restaurant however, I have been up all night tossing and turning, cold sweating, and visiting the rest room. I loved Boulder and everything it had to offer, but spent the last day lin misery after looking for a great steak and came across boulder cork. I ordered the... More

Excellent meal. Upscale dining in a very casual atmosphere. Not fancy and yes, a little expensive, but worth it. The steak my husband wanted wasn't on the menu for the night, but the chef found one and prepared it for him; very tender! I had the grilled salmon special of the night. The polenta side was delicious, and the chef... More

The beef was goo but very expensive. That's fine in a Four Star Steakhouse but Cork is not that... It's an older bit outdated and nothing like a Ruth Chris or similar where the steaks are also pricey but you get the nice feel if a high end restaurant. Service as fine but again nothing like a top notch place.... More

We had flown in from New Hampshire, so still being on east coast time, eating a little earlier and getting in on their early bird specials, worked out very well for us. My husband and I both had the prime rib which was amazing. It's going to be a smaller cut than it would be if you ordered off the... More

My husband and I travelled over an hour to enjoy a great dining experience in Boulder, Co. Happy to have arrived at Cork, we sat down and gleefully ordered a tap beer. But the waiter came back, and very matter-of-factly and said 'the taps don't work', and told us they have bottled beer. Geez, like that's a solution. We both... More
