The House of Specialties

Always a delight when Radec Cerney is in the house, either cooking or out with dining patrons celebrating summer. Food and wine extraordinaire, elegant welcoming atmosphere and so enjoyable.

We were celebrating my birthday and I had been wanting to eat here for a long time. We had the Tuna tartar, the Asian bouillabaisse, and the Pork Saltimbocca. All was very good. The Hawaian sea salt at the table gave the food an extra punch. I much rathered this dinner and restaurant to the pretentious place accross the street.... More

We started with Escargot with garlic herb butter over a line of mashed potatoes. Very different from what we've had at other restaurants as was everything else we ordered. The presentation of each dish was outstanding. My wife had the Lobster meuniere over risotto and I had Ahi over forbidden black rice with pickled ginger and yellow curry. For dessert... More

we had a nice surprise when visiting L'Atelier, good hosting, waiting an a very nice food. It could do with a little bit more to be nearly"perfect".... Decoration is the low part of the place but we will come back.

Been a fan of this restaurant for years, but tonight was pretty average. Appetizers were solid, especially the beef tartare. I really liked the spicy accents. Salads felt a little wilted/flat. Also was not impressed with the mangled sardine in the Caesar. Entrees were good, but it seemed the filet mignon, pork chop, and tuna all had the same red... More

Excellence in every way. Beautiful and quiet surroundings, great menu. A place I return to over and over again. Only complaint is the over use of suaces on everything. So if you would prefer simply ask for the suace on the side. Love the sweetbreads (not on the menu all the time) and the beef tatare! Ravioli and seared tune... More

My family loves this restaurant, but when we went on January 9th for my mother's birthday, I couldn't imagine why. The atmosphere is apropos to Boulder - rustic elegant, and pleasant. It was jammed, completely packed when we arrived, and empty by the time our main courses were served! The escargot appetizer as well as the scallops were perfectly prepared... More

This is one of the best if not the best fine dining experiences in Boulder. The food and service are 5 star and the atmosphere is lovely. It is a great place to bring your special someone but leave the kids at home with a sitter.

My wife and I took our daughter and her partner out to dinner here on Christmas Eve. It was the first time at this restaurant for all of us. I ordered the Bouillabaisse which, in my experience, is a dish that you just can't find in a lot of restaurants. My wife ordered an eggplant dish with a tomato sauce,... More

We have not dined at L'Atelier in several years and now realize we've been missing something really special. We went for a holiday special wine pairing dinner and were simply amazed. All five courses and five wines were extraordinary. I cannot remember dining anywhere in many years having every dish and wine being so wonderfully prepared. The service was also... More
