Didn't try the food, I was there late on a Sunday night and the kitchen was closed. I had an apricot wheat and a java porter and they were both very good! They have live music Sunday nights and the staff was very fun, upbeat, and helpful.

Stopped in for a quick beer while doing the whole Pearl Street thing. Right away I was impressed by how friendly the staff is. We really enjoyed their beer - they are nice enough to provide samples so you know that you will like what you are getting. We had the black bean hummus of the day and it was... More

After searching TA for a few restaurants in Boulder, we ended up meeting our friends at Mountain Sun. What a great surprise! I had called ahead since we were a large group and they were kind enough to find a big table that seated all of us. We tried several beers; all were good and most of us ordered Mexicsn... More

There are a ton of breweries in Boulder, but you shouldn't miss this one. First off, the beer selection offers extensive styles of excellent quality. I recommend getting a sampler, but you can't go wrong with the FYIPA. It was one of the best beers I had tasted during my week-long trip in Colorado. Next, the wait staff work as... More

The staff made sure we sampled the different beers before we committed to just one. The steak sandwich that I had was absolutely incredible! The quesadillas were huge and tasted fantastic! A definite must go in Boulder!

A wide variety of Ales (some quite good) and a very friendly and knowledgeable waiter (Casey). The layout, new age/bohemian decor and American menu completely defy the claim that this is an "English Pub", but an ok place.

We stopped by on our way through Boulder. The staff was awesome - very friendly with free fries & beer samples. Yummy food, feel of a local place. Highly recommend.

As others have pointed out, this place is more of a bar than an eatery. When we arrived there was no wait; by the time we left the wait was at least 30 minutes, and I am not sure why. The bloody marys were spicy, but more ice than drink. Beers were good and selection varied, but that was as... More

The beers were good but not outstanding. Wait staff very attentive and knew how to describe the various beers they produced. Old building = nice ambiance. Also, a nice place to watch people both inside the facility and walking by on the side-walk. BTW: they don't take credit cards .... kind of strange in a tourist town

Wife and I went here for lunch and beer samplers last month. The food was good and prepared just how we'd asked. The beer was also very good. Annapurna was the only one I didn't care for. Mountain Sun FYIPA and XXX Pale Ale were both excellent. I'd go back if in the area again!
