Cash Only?

We stopped in to grab a few drinks. The beer was good, people were nice, and staff was helpful. It was a Friday and was packed, so it was a little challenging to organize and grab a spot to order a drink. When we were there it was cash only, I'm not sure if it was because it was busy... read more

What a fun and classic "Boulder" place to eat. The food is very good and made from top notch ingredients. Most of us had burgers and they did not disappoint. The beef was tasty, as were the buns. The fries were a bit on the "non-hot" side, but they have a written guarantee on their menu that if you ask... More

The burgers and soups were the perfect thing after an all day trek. We thoroughly enjoyed the burgers and drinks on offer. The place also had a really hip interior and a cool vibe to it.

Good selection of microbrews and good food. Nothing spectacular about the decor just good food and drink. They have a railing with seating for 8-10 out front on Pearl Street and it's fun to sit out there with a good microbrew and people watch. Sat out there on Halloween in the early evening for a couple hours and it was... More

We grabbed an open table as soon as we walked through the door. The lunch crowd wasn't too bad on this Wednesday afternoon. Our waiter came over immediately and gave us some recommendations on the various ales. The hamburgers were cooked perfectly and the fries were very good as well. Two thumbs up all around! Excellent service Excellent cold craft... More

We love the Mountains Sun! It's a great spot to grab a burger, beer and play some board games! They always have a great, knowledgeable staff that works in teams to make sure you are always taken care of. The food is not your typical greasy pub food and always hits the spot. The burgers are really good and the... More

We discovered this place a few years ago and it is now one of our must-eat places whenever we visit Boulder! The staff, food, ambiance and location are above and beyond anything I've found elsewhere! Thank you mountain sun for many years of memorable and satisfying conversations over your great food:)

First day in Boulder. Took a walk on Pearl Street and, admittedly, we were afraid of the proverbial tourist trap. We chose Mountain Sun Pub and Brewery since the tables were full and there was a short wait. Most people looked like locals. What a great choice. We were met with enthusiasm and prompt service. Nice variety on the menu... More
