Wife and I went here for lunch and beer samplers last month. The food was good and prepared just how we'd asked. The beer was also very good. Annapurna was the only one I didn't care for. Mountain Sun FYIPA and XXX Pale Ale were both excellent. I'd go back if in the area again!

The Kolsch beer on tap is comparable to Germany's. If you enjoy different beers on tap, this is the place for you. The wait staff was helpful and friendly-- and available. We had appetizers. The Green Onion Hummus, served with bread and tortilla chips, was tasty. The men enjoyed the Cheesy Fries with their beers. This place seemed to be... More

The beer was great and the servers really helpful in making suggestions. The samplers are huge. Food was good. We had great service between all the servers coming by. Only negative is the cash-only aspect. It was a challenge to get enough together between our party of 4 after a big dinner and several beers each. I wish we were... More

I went here with colleagues despite not really being a beer drinker. However, when confronted with a choice between really bad wine or really good beer... We had to wait for a table which was lucky because that left us standing at the bar where we had plenty of time to figure out what to order. The staff are incredibly... More

Typical run of the mill joint. Food is ok. Don't take credit cards though which would be a deciding factor in eating there for me again. Beer is good.

The beer was crisp and fresh. Good selection of IPAs. Great burger and my friend had a killer (literally) burrito. Can't wait to go back on my next vacation to Denver.

Good hamburgers, sandwiches, etc. Would go there much more often if they took credit cards. I almost never have enough cash on hand to pay for the meal. Also, not accessible, as there is a major step to get into the premises. A shame, because the food is good.

Sat out along the street and had several pints of the FYI IPA while watching the scenery. Food was great and reasonably inexpensive. Make sure to bring your cash. I'll be back next time in town.

My husband and I like traveling to various breweries/pubs and we decided to try out this location. We are glad we did. The staff was friendly and food was great. I had the blackened chicken quesadilla which was more than I could eat. My husband had the buffalo chicken sandwich and he said it was terrific. Very fresh ingredients. He... More

Mountain Sun offers fantastic burger options at a reasonable price. The beer menu is extensive and reasonably priced. The brewery seems to be a popular restaurant choice off of the Pearl Street mall and as such, the restaurant seems crowded (read: cramped). Generally speaking I think Boulder has many wonderful high-end restaurants, but very few solid choices in the mid... More
