Brunch

Fun place voles to downtown in a cute little house. Special ketchup is so good. Party of 5 had wide choice of eclectic meals! Worth the wait.

A locally loved and often frequented breakfast spot for all ages to enjoy. Located in a cute little house just a few blocks off Pearl Street this restaurant is a living love affair with New Orleans cuisine. Known for their giant beignets (like a square powdered doughnut), giant homemade biscuits, creole sauced egg dishes, praline waffles, fresh squeezed orange juice... More

Been here many times on many visits, always a must. In fact we broke our long standing rule of no repeats and visited twice this last trip, that's how much we enjoy it. Service friendly and attentive, food is wonderful, atmosphere terrific. Breakfast for the hearty with great flavors and accents.

Loved this place for a brunch stop before flight home. Waitress suggested a delicious beignet to start, and also suggested a slightly spicy shrimp and grits dish which I thoroughly enjoyed even though I am not a huge grits fan. Coffee was bottomless and very good....check out the bold hickory coffee. Has a creole twist to the menu...highly recommend!

Four of us ate breakfast here on a weekend in April. A line to get in. The food is fabulous, even though not as healthy as some locals might like. Super pancakes & waffles, and big tasty omelettes and great eggs bendedict. Nice interior in an old style homelike place. It is indeed a piece of Louisiana in Colorado. Highly... More

Believe every good review you read hear. This truly is a little slice of New Orleans in the North. From what we had read, we knew we got lucky as we walked right in and were seated almost immediately. The small place was full of character and characters. We had no complaints. The coffee was great and the Eggs Benedict... More

Tiny cute place. Get there early and it is worth the wait. The beignets were hot and full of powdered sugar. There biscuits are even better. Warm and crispy on top but delicate and buttery. I could eat these all day. Had the shrimp and grits and the grits were buttery and creamy. The shrimp and andouille sausage were perfect.... More

As tourists in town, my wife and I ate here two days in row; the first day was so good we had to return! Between the two days we had beignets, organic breakfasts, an omelet and French toast, and of course juice. And toast. Which was a great place to put Lucile's homemade apple butter, strawberry rhubarb jam and more.... More
