Like Visiting An Old Friend

Always a joy when I visit Boulder and can have breakfast at Lucile's. From the beignets to the egg dishes there is something that will make your taste buds happy. Typically there is a wait but worth it.

This place is a staple in Boulder. It has been around for over 30 years, and the food is good every time. Prepare to stand in line on weekends unless you get there super early.I get the Eggs New Orleans every time (I should really change it up, but I love it). Eggs, eggplant, creole sauce and hollandaise. How can... More

This is an old house in Boulder turned into a great restaurant. We ate here a couple times for breakfast and you should too. Be prepared to wait in line because it's that good but well worth it.

I've enjoyed dining at Lucille's for a very long time and feel bad that I've never written a review! I have never had anything off of this menu that wasn't delicious. It is so wonderful to be able to get good, authentic beignets and a lovely cafe au lait all the way out in Boulder. My favorite breakfast dish is... More

We were very excited to drive to Boulder from Denver on our first trip to Colorado. In looking for a great breakfast place, Lucile's seemed to come up on top of the list. We were seated in a back room right by the (noisy) kitchen, even though there were many open tables throughout the restaurant, which is in the downstairs... More

Lucile's is a must if visiting Boulder. Their creole food is excellent and the place itself has a low country feel to it. A great place of breakfast/brunch.

It's a really nice place with great food (and a lot of it, you probably won't need lunch after that) and atmosphere. It's fairly small though so it can be quite difficult to get a table at peak hours, keep that in mind.

Lucille's is always good. Recommend the Chicken Robichaux and Eggs Pontchartrain. And...you can substitute a biscuit for cornbread.

My husband is a native and this is the best food we have food in Colorado. Thankfully there are multiple locations so we can get our fix. The lines are long -- a testament to the food you will feast on. And order the beignets with a cafe at lair as a starter. They are as good as Cafe du... More

I love the old house Lucile's is in - it gives the restaurant a very homey feel. The food is amazing. Like...really amazing. Get the beignets and potatoes. Worth the wait!

Thank Laura H
