My husband and I have been coming to Boulder at least twice a year for the last six years and we always make a point to eat breakfast at Lucile's. A quaint, old house in a residential neighborhood and a block or so away from the more touristy Pearl Street, Lucile's offers a wide selection of "cajun-style" breakfasts. Never having... More

Good, creative Cajun takes on traditional breakfast food. Kind and knowledgeable waitress. On a Saturday morning the hostesses were in dresses(!), which added to the already classy feel of the Victorian-style house that houses the restaurant.

I've been to Lucile's Cafe several times. It seems to be the go-to Sunday brunch place in Boulder. Maybe it's their proximity to the Pearl Street Mall. They're always crowded so they must be doing something right. This time, though, none of us cared for our meals.

I have always enjoyed the food at Lucile's but it is waaayyy past time to paint, change carpet and clean up the inside. Makes me wonder what the kitchen is like now a days.

Slight negatives. It's a bit warm, it's a bit cramped. That's said they are pretty small. I've not been to New Orleans so I can't compare but me and two friends really enjoyed the food. Grits were great, the special was special and the jams were jammin. I would recommend this place to anyone but warn them about the heat.

Went there with a group of 6. Had to wait about 30 minutes for a table but it was worth the wait. Great food - I had Eggs Benedict. Everyone left happy. Service also was excellent. Try a side order of the Beignets.

service is excellent! Food is amazing! Eggs benedict with extra crispy potatoes with an extra biscuit- there is no better breakfast around!

Love coming to this place & the Littleton location too. Beignets, biscuits, bloody marys, entrees all fabulous. Only thing that was just fair was the andouille. Portions are huge, but you can order half plates. Fun atmosphere, service cheerful. Be ready for a wait especially on weekends, but it's worth it. Several other locations, all in cottage type buildings.

We usually come here for breakfast when in the area visiting family. This trip was no exception. Suprisingly there was not a crowd and we were seated immediately. We got our coffee and beignets very quickly. Some might think the beignets have too much powdered sugar on them (like me) but still worth experiencing. Then a different server delivered the... More

I had such high hopes for this place. It is located in an old house, and the atmosphere is great. It also features creole cooking, and I was excited to try, but was somewhat disappointed by breakfast. Although the menu sounds great, we found our two dishes lacking in flavor, and that's what you expect in creole cooking. I am... More
