Lucile's was recommended to us when visiting Boulder. Such a short walk from our hotel, we were there in minutes, shortly before it opened on Saturday morning. Chai tea was delicious, fiancé loved the hickory coffee (too strong for my taste). The fruit cup was very fresh and served in a martini glass-nice touch. Not being a breakfast lover, I... More

I am lucky that I live one block from Lucile's and can put my name on the wait list and go back home until it is about time to eat. There is typically a wait on weekends (can be 1hr plus). It is a cozy eclectic restaurant with decently fast service and really good food. The chicory coffee is really... More

What a nice place to have a Sunday Brunch. We had to wait upstairs for about 20 minutes to get a table, but it was worth the wait. The hostess even brought me a cup of coffee while I was waiting. We sat on the porch for our brunch. The porch is nice and open and has a good view... More

An absolutely cozy place to eat! The totally organic breakfast was fresh and delicious. The staff is courteous and was grateful for their recognition of me being from a low altitude environment. Thus, they served me a steady supply of water. This is a wonderful place to disconnect and relax!

Lucille's is a long-time Boulder restaurant. It's in a turn-of-the-century, yellow house, with a sun porch, squeaky floors, 2 cozy dining rooms and predictably good food. The menu features selections typically found in Louisiana and other areas where Creole cooking is common, like beignets, shrimp & grits, red beans, Creole omelets, collard greens, etc. Familiar items such as Eggs Benedict,... Lucille's has been around Boulder for years. It is located in an old house a block and a half off the Pearl Street Mall. It provides scrumptious Cajun-style and some Mexican-style breakfasts. Their biscuits are the best! The staff is friendly and goes out of your way to make you feel comfortable. I certainly would recommend this place for a... More

My husband & I had breakfast here every weekend when we were dating 14 years ago! We used to share the Eggs Ponchatrain and Pain Perdu.

I like my grits plain and creamy so I can put just the right amount of butter and salt and pepper in them. The Eggs Sardou, the Eggs New Orleans. The Coffee is great the biscuits are wonderful and the jams are... More

One of Boulder's last traditional funky restaurants with fantastic food. My favorite is the eggs pontchatrain. But, all the food is great south Louisiana. Breakfast and lunch. Expect a wait, especially on Sundays, but worth it.

Slightly off the beaten path,( a few blocks from Pearl Street) is this neat little spot. We stopped in for late breakfast and had a nice meal. Place was continually crowded and tables are set pretty tightly. So if you want to have a candid conversation, this is NOT the place. That wasn't a concern for us on our visit... More
