We used to frequent Med fifteen years ago when it was a newbie on the much smaller Boulder dining scene. Went back last night for the first time in a long while and was very pleasantly surprised that the quality of the food is still so good! We liked everything we had, but the flatbread was particularly delish. Coming from... More

I was visiting my son, and he took me there for dinner and we had the tapas. The bacon-wrapped dates were amazing (but, then, anything with bacon is amazing), and I loved the pastilla. The only downside to the experience is that we were outside in a corner, and it was so flippin' hot and could've used some fans, but... More

Our hotel recommended this restaurant for a party of 12 in town for a wedding. The menu selections were served tapas style. Two of my choices were from the special menu for the day - 5 onion soup (superb), and meze lamb chop (excellent). The only item I tried that I would say was only average was hanger steak with... This is our standard "go to" place for a variety of great appetizers. We make a meal of it by ordering up to 10 appetizers and share. You get to taste a little of everything, and if you order before 6:30, the price is very reasonable!

There are good Happy Hour deals for northern Italian tappas here, and the atmosphere is nice. Book ahead or you may have difficulty getting a seat, although the tables in the bar area are first come, first serve and you can generally snag one eventually if you're willing to wait.

Always order a large set of Tapas to be shared. Menu changes slightly each time, but most of the favorites are always there. Very reasonable $ for the quality of food and atmosphere.

We decided to try "The Med" on the basis of its extensive menu and even more extensive, Mediterranean-themed dining area, which spills out onto a crowded outdoor patio. The bill of fare includes Italian and North African specialties as well as pizza, but we found the food to be indifferently prepared and lacking in zest. The Moroccan b'stilla (here called... More

We went to the Med with a group of about 45 for a luncheon. We had a limited menu but still nice choices. The service started out very strong. Ice teas and waters were constantly being filled. Our orders were taken quickly. There was a wait for the lunches but I understand that we backed up the kitchen. After we... More

Every once in a while we drive an hour to Boulder to visit my college boy and to eat at "The Med" as we call it because the food, no matter what you order, is always worth the money! Recently, we surprised my younger son for his birthday by hiring a limo to take him and a few of his... More

Delicious food and very good service in a great location. Went on a Thursday night and were able to get reservations. Our party tried 8 or 10 different tapas that were tasty but in shockingly small portions. The decor is fine but the tile and concrete make for a loud, high energy dinner where we could hardly hear one another... More
