Stopped here for a late lunch on a Friday afternoon. Had just come off the plane and was ready to relax. All of the entrees we ordered were great as well as the beer and the service. Would definitely visit again the next time we visit Boulder. Thanks.

I'm from the northeast where pizza rules. This stuff is pretty good and could hold its own against pizza joints in NYC and Boston. Thin crust and a variety of toppings. Buon Appetitto!

I visited Backcountry Pizza twice in the last week and it was delicious both times. We had Buffalo Chicken Pizza the first time and a burger the second. Both were delicious. The service is fast but the food takes a while to come out. Wish I could say the pizza was piping hot but it was not. But it was... More

The main significant difference of this place is definitely the wide range of beers it has, and that for a relatively low price. You can get a whole bottle of a quality beer for about $10. The next good thing is the happy hour which makes the prices reeeeaaaally competitive. And for such a low price, you'll get too much,... More

There were several different beers on tap, which was great. I tried an Insane Rush IPA from Bootstrap, and it was quite good. The pizza wasn't bad, it was just OK. All of our pizza seemed to have the ingredients added to the top after cooking. It was a bit weird.

This is the place to go if beer selection is what you're looking for. They've got at least 50 taps of every style of beer you can think of, with the correct glassware to go with it.

We had a meat pizza (had a catchy name but forgot what it was called!) and the fried macaroni wedges. Highly recommend each! Very tasty. We ordered a large pizza for 2 adults and a teen and we couldn't finish it all, and we had just got back from a 2 hour hike! Portions were very generous. The beer menu... More

Colleagues reserved tables in the backroom for a post-meeting beer & pizza gathering. The waitstaff was very knowledgeable about the MANY beers available and willing to bring a sample on request. The guy helping my table was perhaps a bit too knowledgeable to the point of almost taking offense if you didn't agree with his recommendation. Maybe this comes from... More

What a great addition to Boulder's dining scene -- a casual place with great pizza (not some kind of fancy artisan pizza -- just really good, traditional pizza), arcade games for the kids, and an AMAZING beer list for the grown-ups. We eat here about 3-4 times a month and it's always a great time. The apps & sandwiches are... More

This is an excellent place to get some good pizza, and a wide assortment of very unique, and hard-to-find, beer on draft. Super cool people, music and vibe.
