Backcountry Pizza has so many great craft beers to choose from and the best part is they rotate so you can keep coming back to try new brews from local to across the country and around the world! The bartenders are knowledgeable and can recommend beers based on what you like and the food is good too. They have food... More

My class went here after finals. I had never been. We got there during happy hour, when prices were insanely good, and basically went nuts. We got tons of appetizers, a couple of baskets of wings, and quite a bit of the good brews on tap (there are rotating flavors as well as permanent fixtures). Even though we were here... More

We ordered take out. My husband and I both like different toppings. The waitress told us that we could get two different types of pizza on one for no extra cost. That right there was fantastic! We got our pizza to go so I cannot really comment on the dine in service. Although I sure that it would have been... More

Stopped here for a late lunch on a Friday afternoon. Had just come off the plane and was ready to relax. All of the entrees we ordered were great as well as the beer and the service. Would definitely visit again the next time we visit Boulder. Thanks.

Taking the good pizza and good beer theme from the location in Nederland and super sizing it, get you to their Boulder location. There is something like 50 beers on tap, 25 taps are rotating taps while the other 25 are regulars. Beyond the taps, there are plenty of beers in bottles or can. Their list of Belgium beers keeps... I'm from the northeast where pizza rules. This stuff is pretty good and could hold its own against pizza joints in NYC and Boston. Thin crust and a variety of toppings. Buon Appetitto!

I visited Backcountry Pizza twice in the last week and it was delicious both times. We had Buffalo Chicken Pizza the first time and a burger the second. Both were delicious. The service is fast but the food takes a while to come out. Wish I could say the pizza was piping hot but it was not. But it was... More

The main significant difference of this place is definitely the wide range of beers it has, and that for a relatively low price. You can get a whole bottle of a quality beer for about $10. The next good thing is the happy hour which makes the prices reeeeaaaally competitive. And for such a low price, you'll get too much,... More

We stopped in after a day trip up to Rocky Mountain National Park and were very pleased with how good the pizza was and what a wonderful assortment of beers on tap they had. We ordered a medium veggie pizza which was comparable to a large most places. It was just the right mix of sauce, cheese and veggies and... More

There were several different beers on tap, which was great. I tried an Insane Rush IPA from Bootstrap, and it was quite good. The pizza wasn't bad, it was just OK. All of our pizza seemed to have the ingredients added to the top after cooking. It was a bit weird.
